We stopped by town on our way back to Denver from Aspen. And let me tell you, this town is so much better than Aspen! We just spent 4 nights in Aspen and after walking down Main Street Breckenridge, we wished we would have stayed here and spent our money here. Such charm this place has. Many neat restaurants and... We were just there and it was freezing cold and mud season, but it was still a great place to be. There are quite a few touristy souvenir shops, but mixed in with those there are great little mom and pop places selling unique gifts, freshly made baked goods, outdoorsy gear and a bunch of bars and restaurants. We got... More

Whether you look for the quaintest Starbucks in North America, or want a "Cowboy Coffee" sitting in a comfy horse saddle (Cabin Coffee) or you want to browse through the area largest selection of Cowboy boots and hats (Slopeside Cowboy) - Breckenridge Main Street has something for everybody. The restaurants here (including Blue River Cafe, Cocktails at Modis or the... More

The buildings along this strip are very cute, and are a relief from the the condo-y resort buildings across the street. Buuuut... I didn't find the shops all that interesting or that different from the other Colorado mountain towns. Lots of dining and drinking options. Parking is sparse, but why bother bringing a car into this part of town? Everything... More

We loved exploring Main Street when we visited. It had just snowed, so it had a real holiday feel to it. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars to explore. Breckenridge is such a cute town and Main Street is definitely one of my favorite parts!

We ended up in Breck just days after their summer season closed and over a month before their winter season opened, so unfortunately all of our plans flew out the window. Rather than taking the gondola for a scenic view of the aspens due to its closure, we ended up just wandering main street, shopping, and enjoying the river walk.... More

Breckenridge has an exceptional mainstreet that is great for a lesurely day. There are many very interesting little shops that have good valued merchandise and the shop keepers are very friendly and helpful.
