Simply a fun day, especially during the summer. So very many quaint shops and bistro's. Start with an early lunch at Oscar's or the Jade Garden, and then slowly stroll down the street ( about 6 blocks long) - stop for a craft beer or whisky at Apres' - and then finally back for dinner at The Warming Hut, or... Breckenridge's main street has the usual mountain town shops (rocks, candles, glass blowing, native American crafts & jewelry, ice cream, fudge, taffy), plus tons of restaurants and ski apparel shops. I prefer my mountain towns smaller and more quaint, but the younger adults in my family prefer the more happening Breckenridge.

This Main Street is roughly six blocks long with a lot of very interesting shops and taverns and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our time walking this lovely street

Breckenridge's main street is picture perfect. It's full of cute little shops & restaurants. There are ton of food choices, they have every tourist shirt imaginable and it's all set with the ski slopes in the background. A cute little town with a lot of charm. Don't forget the speed limit is only 20 on main street and the pedestrians... More

I would recommend spending an afternoon walking along the main street and exploring the different shops and buildings -plus the cafes of course!

Main Street Breck is really fun, once or twice. Certainly, there is no shortage of good restaurants, and fun shopping, plus the view of the creek and the range, but I've become somewhat biased. It's difficult to truly enjoy main street Breck knowing that there are similar experiences nearby that have more perks. The town of Breck is great, but... More

Loved the old Breckenridge historic district. The shops and restaurants are unique, quaint and offer high quality merchandise not found elsewhere. The restaurants offer a variety of food choices that should suit everyone. There are many art galleries that have excellent offerings and are fun to browse.

The Main Street offers the typical touristy type shops but take the time to check out the heritage buildings as they are well preserved. Park in the gonadal parking lots and walk to the street.

Typical tourist stuff- but what the hell, I was a tourist. Now I have shirts, sore feet, and indigestion- everything a tourist could wish for. Oh no, it isn't - my wife would not let me buy the wine bottle holder shaped like a drunken bear !
