My kids and I visited Stephen C. West Arena after three days of skiing and found it be easily accessible (location, hours), clean, and the ice in great shape. Open skate hours are posted online, and from what I saw there are three different time slots each day, varying between indoor and outdoor.

This Ice rink is well maintained, easily accessible, and a great place to visit if you are looking to do something other than ski. Staff are really friendly, prices are reasonable and on the day we went we had the rink almost entirely to ourselves.

A nice alternative where you can take the kids skating after a day of skiing or a place for non-skiers to stay active.

Who puts teens practicing slap shots by kids playing miniature golf? This place! Teenagers in bounce houses with young kids? This place! The golf course was just squiggly lines with what looked like a 3rd graders art project on it(that was if it had anything on it at all). Or the porter potty with fake poop. I only paid $7... More

Easy to get to. The staff are friendly and over accommodating. We went to the 1:15 pm open session and were the only family there for the first 15 minutes and maybe there was a maximum of 25 people over the almost 2 hours. Clean facility, safe environment with Skate Guards and EVERYONE WAS NICE. What a nice break from... More

We spent a few hours ice-skating and had a blast! My boys went over to the ice hockey rink, and my daughter and I went to the ice-skating rink. Soon after, the boys joined us there. The rink had all of the equipment needed!

I loved the outdoor rink. I rented equipment from the rink very cheap and skated for hours. Highly recommended

I figure skate for this rink and I like it here. They are mostly hockey but do provide for figure skaters and public skaters alike. They are cheaper than Denver and always super nice to me.

If you are looking for a few hours to kill due to weather outside, head to the ice rink. It has everything you need to skate, just remember to bring your warm clothes!
