We weren't totally sold on taking this tour but had some extra time. It was great and I'm so glad we did. Saw more of the area, heard lots of funny stories and learned some history.

The bus is a riot and the tours are fun and informative. We went on the historic tour which included a lot of ghost stories. It gets warm on the bus if it is hot out so bring a beverage with you.

This tour came recommended by a friend, but it was very much on the dull side. After 45 minutes I was ready to jump off the bus and do some exploring myself. The stories were generally uninteresting, although there were a few good puns thrown into the commentary. I've done a number of these types of city bus tours in... More

The ramshackled hippie bus takes you around Boulder to historic sites, haunted places and notorious structures. The guides are always humorous and entertaining. This is a Boulder must do!

We live in Aurora and have been to Boulder many times. Being on this tour was fun and loads of information about Boulder an outsider, even local, would not know. We went in parts of Boulder one visiting would not venture as it was residential, and learned about the history of some of the homes. (and some interesting stories of... More

An interesting ninety minute tour of Boulder on an even more interesting vehicle. Glen, our driver and guide, shared great information about the history of Boulder than many historians might choose to ignore. The redecorated hillbilly bus is fun and it appears the local Boulder residents welcome the intrusion with a YeeHaw holler whenever the bus makes a stop. I... More

Learn a bit more than you thought you knew about the city of Boulder - historic, ghostly, academic and otherwise! Our driver was knowledgeable and fun - he made this a memorable experience for our group. Note that if you are advised to report to 2115 Spruce, the address is incorrect; the correct address is at the Boulderado hotel which... More

Interesting tour of Boulder. The bus is interesting. It is not handicap accessible although one member of our group was able to make it up the stairs with assistance. The bell station at the hotel stored the wheelchair. The ride can be kind of rough, especially in the back. Some interesting ghost stories. It is an open air bus. I... More

Banjo Billy greeted us at the bus stop. And we all stepped back into the '60's when we got on the bus. Really a fun time. He was very entertaining and gave a really great tour. I think this is one event that is not very well known and everyone should have a go!

We took the Halloween tour with our child. The coolest part of the bus is the interior. Saddles, old couches very eclectic. The tour took FOREVER! The jokes were old fashioned and corny. I really wanted to get off and walk home but my husband made me stick it out. I highly recommend drinking heavily before taking the tour.
