An interesting ninety minute tour of Boulder on an even more interesting vehicle. Glen, our driver and guide, shared great information about the history of Boulder than many historians might choose to ignore. The redecorated hillbilly bus is fun and it appears the local Boulder residents welcome the intrusion with a YeeHaw holler whenever the bus makes a stop. I... More

Learn a bit more than you thought you knew about the city of Boulder - historic, ghostly, academic and otherwise! Our driver was knowledgeable and fun - he made this a memorable experience for our group. Note that if you are advised to report to 2115 Spruce, the address is incorrect; the correct address is at the Boulderado hotel which... More

Interesting tour of Boulder. The bus is interesting. It is not handicap accessible although one member of our group was able to make it up the stairs with assistance. The bell station at the hotel stored the wheelchair. The ride can be kind of rough, especially in the back. Some interesting ghost stories. It is an open air bus. I... More

Banjo Billy greeted us at the bus stop. And we all stepped back into the '60's when we got on the bus. Really a fun time. He was very entertaining and gave a really great tour. I think this is one event that is not very well known and everyone should have a go!

We took the Halloween tour with our child. The coolest part of the bus is the interior. Saddles, old couches very eclectic. The tour took FOREVER! The jokes were old fashioned and corny. I really wanted to get off and walk home but my husband made me stick it out. I highly recommend drinking heavily before taking the tour.

We had a blast riding with banjo Billy! The bus is crazily painted in some type of 70s country theme. The tour guide was hilarious. From the minute we got on the bus to the minute we got off, all you could do was look around the total craziness and have a good time. When the guide tells you that... More

We thought it was a little odd when a blind man approached the Banjo Billy's Tour Bus parked in front of the Boulderado Hotel!? When we boarded the bus we realized he wasn't taking the tour, he was giving it! Chris was clever and engaging, telling us the history, rumors, and gossip about the various personalities and landmarks in town... More

The Bus is fun quirky and engaging Billy knows his history and will tailor the "talk" and tour to the age group of the audience. (We were a business group out for an evening fun event and he asked "do you want the G, R, or X" tour- we took R,) He is fun and you really get an "insider... More

If you're looking for something different, yet comprehensive, in touring Boulder, this is the trip for you. Glenn ,our tour guide and driver, is an economics professor who also does improv on the side he has a witty sense of humor which kept us laughing for the 90 minute trip. He was informative and took us to places we wouldn't... More
