What do you want to know about old Boulder?

I wanted to research and this is the place to research Boulder County local history. The librarians were a huge help. City, County, and cemetery Directories, tax assessor and many other records are readily available. Within a short time I had all the information that I needed. A genealogist's delight. Metered, on-street parking.

I asked the reference desk librarian what else she recommended I see in my day and she said, 'The Carnegie Branch Library, it's the original library in Boulder.' It is just a short walk from the main library and just blocks away from Pearl Street Mall. I was glad I... More

The excellent staff can help you find what you are looking for. This was one of the libraries that Carnegie helped set up, and now it is just for history papers. They have a lot of photographs, and oral histories. It's on Broadway, in an elegant building, near Pearl St. Mall.
