We never tried mead before so we gave it a try. Location is a bit odd. The building is between two automotive repair places and we had to park in the street. Once inside the free tasting was quite good. Mead is a fermented honey beverage. They have many different meads to try and most of them are very good.... More

Stopped by the Redstone Meadery on a recent visit to Boulder. We had only heard of this honey wine and wanted to try it. What an interesting experience! Hunter was our Mead Ambassador and what a knowledgeable and fun guide who introduced us to samples of all the varieties of Mead available. WOW! If you have never tried this type... More

Came here for the samples (9!) and short tour of the factory floor. Tucker was our guide and he throws out a whole bunch of mead puns throughout the half hour tour. I paid $3 each to try both the 2005 and 2006 reserves but they were too sweet for me. I bought the traditional mountain honey wine for $22.

Wife loves the original alcoholic beverage. Found this place in Boulder. She loves my finds. Took a great tour of meadery. Informative Mead Ambassador. Ask all questions. Get all answers. Great tasting of a lot of the best meads you can find. We went away with bpttles and cans of excellent leads.

We were looking for a stop in Boulder on our way back to Denver from Estes Park. The Meadery is easy to find and is a fun experience. We missed the tour but still enjoyed the tastings - and there are several. They have carbonated and traditional meads, both of which were great. Our host was entertaining, and we left... More

When our son put this on the schedule, I was thinking it would be ok, but nothing special. Well, I was wrong. The young man who greeted us (sorry I forgot his name) gave us tastings of a variety of their products and we were surprised at how many ways mead can be made, and all of them are so... More

If you have never heard of or tried any mead then this is the place to go. Not a tour but an excellent presentation on mead and a nice free tasting of various samples. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Take some home and impress your friends.

We enjoyed our visit to the Redstone Meadery. The meads were delicious and the woman who conducted our tasting was knowledgeable and friendly. We left with bottles of mead to take home for everyone. :) Unfortunately, they were not giving tours at the time we were there so I can't comment on the tours. The lady who helped us even... More

I stopped by with my brother and parents mid-week. My brother and I are both over 21, FYI (Trip Advisor doesn't have a "Family - adults" option for the type of visit). We had no problems finding Redstone since we followed the directions on their website. We were the only ones there for the 3pm tour so we sampled 3... More

The tour was interesting. Belinda, our tour guide, was knowledgable and enthusiastic! I really enjoyed the tastings. The mead was smooth, light, and full of flavor. It was hard to choose a favorite. We purchased several bottles. Mead is an excellent option instead of wine.
