Boulder Canyon remains a remarkable site particularly in the springtime. The volume of water is remarkable. Too bad it flows down to the City of Boulder.

Any day especially in the summer a drive up canyon is fun. They rock climb. Bike. Tube. And the views are wonderful for this close to town. ( let the locals pass on the two lane mountain roads and you'll be welcome )

Boulder Falls was closed while we were there but that did not stop us from pulling over at a near by parking area and taking a little walk down to the river. The water is moving fast but we found a little spot close to shore that the kids could get in and cool off. I just didn't let them... More

This is a beautiful waterfall right off the main road. It is definitely worth the stop if you are driving by or worth the short road trip from Boulder.

As a visitor in CO.. I have to say this was what i enjoyed the most! Where I am from we don't have falls or an ocean so this was a huge plus ! Super relaxing. The water was super clean . Although it was cold I enjoyed it too much that I didn't want to leave.

This is an easy, paved hike off the main road between Boulder and Nederland. The biggest challenge is parking in the parking area along the busy road and then crossing at the crosswalk, as most cars don't stop and the speed limit is fast. You will definitely need to hold the hands of young children. There are stairs getting to... More

Very pretty, fairly secluded waterfall, from off the road. Good, but not a long hike to get to it. Very peaceful and not far from the city of Boulder.

I visited Boulder Falls three times before I was able to make the trek down to see it. After all the fuss, I was slightly disappointed. When the river is full, the falls are beautiful. That is often the time that the falls trail is also closed.

Unfortunately, Boulder Falls wasn't accessible due to rock falls when we were there, but we did pull off the road and get some fantastic views of some of it. I can't wait to return and hike around to see more!

Looks like a nice short walk for summertime. Mostly closed during the year and in bad weather. Waterfall can slightly be seen from the road, but nothing spectacular.
