This was our first trip to Boulder. The ride on our way to the falls was breathtaking. We stopped several times to take photos of the mountains, creek that runs along the road and all the brave people climbing the mountains. It is truly beautiful there. The falls were closed when we arrived so we were unable to take the... More

Had read on Trip Advisor that it was closed, but we stopped anyway on our way from Nederland to Boulder, just in case it had reopened. No luck and we decided to obey the 'No Trespassing' sign.

Beautiful views but unfortunately the trail was closed due to recent rock slides. Would love to see in the winter when frozen or in the spring thaw. Visited in late summer and still a great rush of water and great views.

It is a ways up Boulder Canyon and parking can sometimes be a hassle but the mist from the falls makes it worth the effort

This trail is closed in the winter. In the summer it is usually crowded with folkds coning from the main Canyon road. Parking is right next to it on the other site of the street, The fall is quite nice but nothing spectacular. Between the crowd, the dangerous parking and the average views I just give it 3 stars. .It... More

A few steps from the busy highway, and the roar of the falls takes over. I could, however, hear - but not see - hummingbirds from the other side of the creek! We had time for a visit but were dismayed by the "Closed due to rock falls" sign. But not undeterred, as it was quite easy to get in,... More

We had heard about the falls and wanted to visit. However, when we arrived it was closed due to many severe accidents.

We traveled out to Boulder the very end of June. We have visited Boulder Falls in the past and find the hike short and very worthwhile. I'm giving it an average rating just because at the time of our visit the trail was closed due to falling rocks. I will say that people were still by-passing the railing and venturing... More

THere are many waterfalls in colorado-- this one is hardly special, and is over-used due to its proximity to boulder. continue up boulder canyon to the peak-to-peak highway instead, find a trailhead parking lot, and see something really interesting-unspoiled mountain beauty.

Very easy to find and park close to the 'entrance' - it is a little bit of walk but we were able to manage it with 2 small children fairly easily (as long as they can walk) - you could do it with a lightweight puchchair or buggy but you may need to carry it on small stretches so do... More
