The building is spectacular and great to visit while the rose garden is in bloom or on a snowy afternoon. Their chai is the perfect blend of spicy, sweet and creamy. The food is pretty good, but not exceptional for the price and service speed. Food has a global flare, with lots of regional options.

We decided to have "afternoon tea" at the Dushanbe Teahouse and could see why this was such a popular attraction in Boulder. It was wonderful. We did have tea, but started out with a little champagne. The snacks were delicious and the portions were perfect. This building is so unique and beautiful, it would have been a shame to miss... My daughter and I decided to relax and have tea after our hiking experience on the Chautauqua. The Tea House was very ornate, detail on detail. We were seated immediately and given the extensive tea menus. We decided on a couple of teas and an appetizer. With the music playing in the background, it was such a fantastic way to... More

It was such a challenging feat to reconstruct this beautiful building. It reminds me of a Tibetan gompa. The food is good but the high tea is very special with so many tea choices. Great place to have a children's tea party or just to go and enjoy a special day.

The teahouse is a uniquely beautiful building inside and out, the food is very good, and the prices are reasonable.

Unique and beautiful building originally built in Russia than disassembled, boxed and shipped to Boulder. It sat in those boxes for several years as the liberal powers that be in Boulder contemplated whatever. Go and experience it! The teas and food are all quite good.

The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse has wonderful and interesting food options! I haven't had anything I didn't love! On the warmer days, I recommend eating on the patio if you can, it's lovely. That said, the interior is exotic and interesting. All-in-all, a wonderful dining experience! I live in Boulder so I get to dine here as often as I like... More

This is a lovely place to dine or have afternoon tea. It was a gift from Boulder, CO's sister city exchange with Tajikistan. The interior is a "must see" if your are in town on vacation or business travel. It's hand-carved and hand-painted ceiling, tables, stools, columns, and exterior ceramic panels are lovely. And if you are a tea drinker,... More

Was here for dinner with a large group of colleagues. Service was friendly and fast, and the food quite nice: tasty, in good quantity and properly served. Would certainly recommend. Location is also good. The building itself is worth a visit.

It's a beautiful building with many detailed carving and paintings. You wouldn't expect this kind of place in Boulder. There's a large selection of teas, and the food was delicious. Also on certain days you an catch a farmers market right outside of the restaurant.
