Enjoyed the outside patio next to a branch of Boulder Creek. Food was quite good and varied. Service was excellent. Also enjoyed touring the inside of the restaurant and seeing its very distinctive decor.

This is a lovely setting but rather mediocre fare. The dishes are from all over the world and all good, just not as good as they could be at a restaurant that specialized in each cuisine. For example, the harissa isn't very hot and the Moroccan mint tea isn't anything like what you'd expect in a Moroccan home.

Beautiful place to stop for a cool drink! So many teas to choose from after a stroll thru Pearl Street. We didn't eat but they did have a nice menu. Fun place to go!

This has been my "Go To" since 2008. I love tea and the atmosphere of gardens and mosaic walls of splendor. But this year 2015 was a true letdown. My tea was way too weak for starters. The waiter went and got me a new pot to redeem it with double the tea. Just no flavor. And the menu has... More

You really do want to come here at least once, if you spend much time in Boulder. As far as I recall the basic structure was a gift from the people of Dushanbe. The parts sat around for many years and finally the tea house was born. Food is decent, and the service is OK. Both can be a bit... More

Learned about the teahouse on the Boulder Walking Tour. After the tour was over I immediately went back for lunch! Delicious food! I was dining alone so I sat at the bar. The bartender was very knowledgeable about tea and after asking about my preferences, he recommended the honey orchid black tea. I enjoyed talking to him about Boulder. Good... More

You'll enjoy the atmosphere for sure. The architecture, the tables, all takes you to Dushanbe, Tajikistan's capital city where this building has been constructed and transferred to Boulder as a gift. As someone coming from the neighbor country of Tajikistan with similar culinary traditions, I go to this place mainly for tea. As the name suggests, it's really a teahouse!... More

Shipped to Boulder from Dushanbe, Tajikistan like a giant puzzle that was assembled piece by piece. Now the Dushanbe Teahouse is gorgeous and feels like you have entered a completely different country and culture! Wonderful teas and very unique and tasty foods, too! You will want to spend some time inside this beautiful teahouse and you might decide to dine... More

We eat here when we have friends in town. The food and service have never disappointed. Not cheap, but good value.

The food was very good and reasonable in portion size. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. We were with a large group of people but the staff managed to keep orders correct and to bring refills on drinks, etc. I recommend this restaurant if you want to try something different but which is bound to be good.
