We went here for lunch after reading amazing review online. It is a tradtional tea house from Tajikistan transplanted in the middle of Colorado and it is amazing. The teas are an art and a science, and my husband had the best Chai he had ever eaten here. The food is so diverse and beautifully executed. The building inside and... More

Boulder has Dushanbe, Tajikistan, as a sister city, and the mayor of Dushanbe decided to give this wonderful teahouse to Boulder as a gift. After being handmade in Dushanbe by excellent artisans, the whole thing was disassembled and sent to Boulder for reassembly where it now stands and serves as a functioning teahouse serving (of course) tea and light meals.... My girl and I came for breakfast. Our server was Tim and he educated me on the teas and what some of the recommendations were. We sat right next to the statues and koi pond, beautiful. My 4 year old was entranced by the fish and wanting to throw coins in the fountain. My tea was excellent, breakfast was excellent... More

Beautiful architecture - reminds one of a Persian palace. Colorful handpainted ceiling and interior decoration and beautiful carved wooden columns make this place seem like you have been transported to another time and place. We visited on a Saturday for lunch after walking through the Farmer's Market. At noon, the wait was only 15 minutes. The chai tea was the... More

We really enjoyed our visit here. While visiting Boulder, we made reservations for the afternoon tea. They go all out for the tea service with white table linens, fresh flowers, a tray of treats and a huge selection of tea. It was a nice experience and the building itself is beautiful in a special way. It's right in the mix... More

I remember watching the Teahouse be built, and how all the beautiful pieces came together, and still being surprised at how it was even better on the inside than the outside. They serve every kind of tea and many savory and sweet dishes to compliment the tea, in an atmosphere that allows one to pretend one is in a far... More

Ducked in here for lunch on a Saturday. Was a bit crowded but I sat alone at the bar, where I naturally made new friends. I had the breakfast Bahn Mi and a blooming chamomile tea, both were delicious. But the best part was the decor. So beautiful inside and out! Definitely check this place out!

Expect a wonderful meal with lovely food, great service, and beautiful atmosphere. The teahouse is also a great value and just a couple of blocks from the pearl street mall. Also expect some lovely cocktails if you are in the mood for a drink. The drinks are very interesting and not your run of mill concoctions.

We ate here for lunch - three adults, a teenager and a tween. We all thought the food was excellent. The building is amazing and makes a fun setting for any occasion. The service was somewhat slow though.

None of us had been but we had heard about it. We shared the hummus plate and they had a special crab cake appetizer. It was clear at that point tonight would be a big foodie win. We also ordered different teas throughout the evening. I ordered the Russian Beet Salad which had the freshest butter lettuce I've ever seen.... More
