This little tea house has great food, a wonderful staff, and an interesting story. It's a must do in Boulder as it's a wonderfully unique experience for the USA. Plus, the tea options are fun and tasty as well as the food. We went for brunch and could not have been happier with our choice.

The atmosphere is completely amazing, I did not stop looking around while enjoy my tea. They have outdoor seating so you can enjoy the Boulder weather and chocolate tea at the same time. The Saturday farmers market is right in front on it so great to do at the same time or to check out while at the market.

This is an all out gorgeous place! AH mazing! A must see, especiallyfor tourists like myself 😊 The food was good- but its all about the 'bling' and the architecture! WOW

This has always been a delightful building, but the food in recent years has become much better than that served in earlier years. The tea selections are exceptional.

Building is fascinating, food is good and different. The inside is often crowded and noisy but eating outside by the river when the weather permits is always nice even if service is often slow. And Harlequin Garden roses that live the walk are spectacular in season. All Boulder visitors should visit !

OK I'm biased as one of the people who helped get the Teahouse built about 17 years ago, but the old girl still looks great! I visited a couple weeks ago after not seeing the Teahouse since the early 2000s. The Teahouse had a renovation/refurbishment last year, when one of the sons of the original artists came over and reworked... More

The workmanship and detail n the Boulder Teahouse is incredible! This was a gift from Boulder's sister City of Dushanbe, Tajikistan. And what a gift it is. The concessionaires that run the restaurant there do a great job as well. The meals are very good and the menu is exotic. When weather is good (generally, spring, summer and fall) it... More

The teahouse is beautiful and the history of how it came to Boulder is something you need to find out about. The selection and preparation of teas is truly amazing.

We went here for lunch after reading amazing review online. It is a tradtional tea house from Tajikistan transplanted in the middle of Colorado and it is amazing. The teas are an art and a science, and my husband had the best Chai he had ever eaten here. The food is so diverse and beautifully executed. The building inside and... More

Boulder has Dushanbe, Tajikistan, as a sister city, and the mayor of Dushanbe decided to give this wonderful teahouse to Boulder as a gift. After being handmade in Dushanbe by excellent artisans, the whole thing was disassembled and sent to Boulder for reassembly where it now stands and serves as a functioning teahouse serving (of course) tea and light meals....
