There is nothing quite like spending a Saturday afternoon at the farmer's market! For it's relatively small size, the market has a surprising variety of quality, healthy products from produce to bread to baked goods. There are also several vendors offering tasty snacks and lunch foods- all organic, of course, with amazing vegan and vegetarian options. Don't forget to bring... More

After reading several reviews about Boulder, I knew that we had to visit their farmer's market. It is often cited as one of the nation's best and I would say that it certainly had it's own unique Boulder flavor to it. Beyond the amazing produce (which in October was primarily beautiful fall vegetables and fruits - pumpkins, beets, apples), there... More

Even if you're not an avid farmers market patron, there's a lot to enjoy here. There were plenty of samples available. I enjoyed some tasty coffee and a great Middle Eastern sandwich. In general, there was a wide variety and lots of friendly buyers and sellers. I addition to available tables and chairs, there is a lawn where you can... More

What is lacks in size, it makes up for in quality. I have been to the Des Moines (Iowa) and Madison (Wisconsin) Farmer's markets which are larger, but the Boulder market offers a healthier variety of produce and made to order foods. Located conveniently off of the Boulder Creek Path, the market offers some great made to order breakfast items... More

One of the best Farmer's Markets ever, that is if you are into locally grown organic food and produce actually sold by the people who produced it. There is a wide variety of vendors ranging from produce to meats, honey, wine and flowers. You can even grab a meal or coffee. My favorite stands include the pasta man, mushroom stand,... More

This was not the biggest farmer's market I've been to, but it was very nice, very busy, had lots of variety (vegetables, pies, soaps, flowers, herbs, smoothies, food, live music), and everyone was super friendly. Like most farmer's markets, it was a little pricey, but not more so than the norm . I would definitely recommend if you are going... More

Many thanks to all the folks who left their pets at home. I enjoyed shopping at the market for the first time in four years. The aisles were not clogged with pets on 10 ft. leashes, their owners all admiring each others pets in a show-and-tell session. Thanks to all.

The farmers market had a large selection of food, but we were disappointed in the lack of local, handmade items that are usually found at weekly markets.

I addition to this farmer's market's good local produce and ready-to-eat food, music, and interesting people, it is very close to the Pearl Street pedestrian mall, Alfalfa's health food store, the Boulder public library, and other places of interest. So, there's plenty to do nearby, too.

I enjoy farmer's markets as much as anyone, and overall I enjoyed this one, too. It was fun to browse the products on offer and eat at the food stands. I did, however, experience a serious case of sticker shock. For example, beefsteak tomatoes were $6/pound. Ouch! At one stall, I grabbed one bunch each of chard, carrots, and onions... More
