I would recommend the sanitized tour of the Celestial Seasonings Factory if only to see where all the tea you know and love comes from. I was sad to see that it has now been purchased by the Hain corporation and one is forced to sit through and informative video about the factory (that I did want to see) but... More

Looking for something fun, interesting and unique thing to do while in Boulder? Try the Celestial Seasoning Tea Factory tour. I enjoy this free tour and does not take that long. I as a tea drinker, I had great time sampling different teas and enjoyed the mint room. Have fun with this unique tour.

This was a fun outing for all ages. Had to convenience my older kids to go, but they were glad they did. Informative and fun - the mint room really was intense, but we loved it. Soup at the cafe was surprising good. The tour guide was funny and the tea tasting was great!

I've done a lot of brewery tours but this was my first tea tour. It was pretty informative and interesting to hear about the sourcing of the ingredients and the preparation. 500,000 boxes a day!!! Little known fact, their top 3 selling favorite drinks don't contain tea leaves. Great prices on teas in the gift store. The factory is about... More

It was raining the day we went and an excellent outing. We ate lunch at the cafe, took the free tour, and shopped the gift shop. I was not a big fan of the hairnets that have to be worn to take the tour but I get why they have to be worn. I know some people may have a... More

This was our second tour of Celestial Seasonings. The first was with a group of adult friends and this trip was with family. I can honestly say that this tour is entertaining and informative for all ages. (Children under five are not allowed to take the tour.) Learn the history of the company, how their teas are blended and produced,... More

You get to try as many free tea samples as you'd like. You get to feel and smell some of their ingredients and learn some really neat things about tea and this particular factory. The artwork is great and the gift shop has a huge variety of stuff.

Great place to visit and tour for all ages (however younger than 5 yrs can't go on the tour as it is a working factory). We arrived and were able to go on the tour w/in 20 minutes which gave us time to try all the teas we wanted! The total tour and short video was ~45. They have some... More

We hit up the 10am tour first thing. There's a quick video that's really informative and gave us a greater respect for the company and their beginnings. The video was just the right length - not too long - and then we really began the factory tour. Everyone gets to wear a hairnet - and beard-net as applicable - which... More

LOVED this place! There are tons of teas to try before the tour starts. My kids weren't really excited about it but me and my husband loved it. They have you wear hair nets during the factory tour which was a highlight for the kids. The mint room is very memorable. The best part was the gift shop - they... More
