We visited the tea factory on a Tuesday in March. We ended up arriving about 15 minutes after the previous tour had gone, so we had to sit and wait. No problem! They have teas, both hot and cold, for you to try while you wait. In fact, I'd recommend arriving early just to take advantage of this. There are... More

First of all....this tour is FREE! Lovely plant that is very conscious of the environment. You start the tour with a short video about the company. Then you put on your hairnets and go into the factory with guides. Its a walking tour with no stairs or inclines. The tours start about every hour on the hour. We went to... More

I learned more about Tea than I thought that I ever wanted to know! I am glad we took the time to see and experience the factory. I will be only buying one kind of tea from now on.

Our tour guide was excellent and we truly enjoyed the experience. We were among some nice people for the 30 min tour. Our guide was very informative about the products. The smells of the different herbs and spices were welcoming. Loved their little gift shop; great place for gifts. Truly enjoyed this visit and no negatives comments at all-free tea... More

a 45 minute tour with an interesting history of the Celestial Seasoning company. Great smells--tea smells. The factory looked interesting but nothing was running. Their busy time is October- March--so if you want to see the tea packed in boxes, then don't go in the month of April. Now when I see Sleepytime tea I know more about it than... More

I am glad we went just to see it but definitely wouldn't go back. Been there, done that. The waiting area was very crowded and there was minimal seating which was a negative since we had to wait about 50 minutes to the next tour. The idea of tea tasting was nice but the teas were all very strong and... More

Enjoying walking around, taste different flavors of tea. Customer service are great, tours are ok. The coffee / restaurant is closed on weekends, if you planning stay yoo many hours in there the coffee shop have some snacks.

My first hippie tea back in the day was Celestial Seasonings Red Zinger, so I was delighted to have the opportunity to do the behind-the-scenes tour of the factory. Driving up Sleepytime Drive in the middle of a suburban development that seems to have sprung up around the factory was a bit of an unexpected twist, but once we got... More

We took our umpteenth set of out-of-town guests on the free tour yesterday. Every time, I learn something new and, of course, our guests are fascinated. It's well organized and smoothly run. The tea-tasting area allows guests to try as many blends as they like. Don't miss the funky teapot collection and the original art for some of the earlier... More

I would recommend the sanitized tour of the Celestial Seasonings Factory if only to see where all the tea you know and love comes from. I was sad to see that it has now been purchased by the Hain corporation and one is forced to sit through and informative video about the factory (that I did want to see) but... More
