We visited this past week for a late afternoon tour and I'm so glad we got to see the weekday operations of the factory! It's a brief but satisfying (and well-priced: FREE!) experience that starts with a short video background/overview. Oh, and be sure to arrive early because the cafe/waiting area offers unlimited samples of dozens of delicious tea flavors,... More

Tastings are fun. Always disappointed when the factory is not actually running. Check ahead - will make it more interesting. Takes an hour to tour.

We stop by for the tour and was rushed to catch the tour, and didn't get to taste the teas. We were pushed thru and the factory was quite because it was the weekend. The tour was kinda boring, the king room was cool. Not good for preteen girls they were board.

Celestial Seasoning makes great tea. That's not new information. But what is so much fun about the factory tour is learning about the beginnings of this locally grown business, learning about the source of spices and teas used in the making of the different teas, and experiencing the smells of bales of tea leaves and spices. Great, informative guides. Free... More

This tour is one of the only true factory floor tours you can do these days. It is also free. You get to walk the floor, watch the lines run, smell the tea, and various herbs. It is very informative and they are great at answering questions. Remember that the tour takes about 40 minutes so children need to be... More

A fascinating educational tour of an exceptional company. So glad my host suggested the visit. Excellent gift shop and restaurant too. Highly recommend you put it on your list when in Boulder.

Celestial Seasonings has quite a fun tour of the factory, then a factory store where you can get all manner of things tea-related, as well as tea itself. In the complex there is also a restaurant and tea tasting, which we enjoy. The tour is the reason to go, however, especially visiting the famous mint room - an eye and... More

Taking a Celestial Seasonings tour is an experience like no other. To witness how the teas are prepared for packaging, to watch the tender loving care of the workers, and to realize the underpinnings of manufacture to ensure quality will remain with you long after the tour. To stand in the peppermint room is an experience in and of itself... More
