When planning my trip to Boulder, Eldorado Canyon kept coming up as a "must see". I convinced my family to go and we had a great time....I just am not sure it was what I thought it was going to be. I was under the impression that there was some type of museum here....there is not. There is a small... More

A great place to hike and or bike. We love to hike and enjoy the wild life and the views. It is a great option for those looking for out door venues.

Stunning place! If you have a FWD make sure to park in the winter instead of driving through the canyon. There is an entrance fee but definitely worth it.

I came here for my cousin's wedding. On the day we came, it was just over 100 degrees outside and I was prepared to be absolutely miserable at this outdoor wedding. We drove into the canyon and parked as close to the wedding site as we could. I could not believe the weather when we stepped out of the car.... More

Had fall photos taken here and they turned out awesome. Shout out to Visible Life Photography. Even though it was cloudy that day you would never know. The scenery is gorgeous and quiet. Nice place for an escape.

One of my favorite places in Boulder. Great place for lunch by the visitor center, great hikes and amazing rock climbing. Definitely worth a visit.

This was an incredible park. When you drive in, you're not sure you're on the right path as the road in has shanty-type homes on both sides. The canyons are full of color - bring your camera! The man at entrance suggested Fowler trail for something flat with great views, and that was perfect advice. The trail offered shade on... More

Went to the park on a southwest trip this September. Did the Fowler trail. The parking can be tight along the road. I definitely think Roxborough State Park is better than this one from a walking perspective as the walking was more varied and more rock formations there. But this is park is really neat to see rock climbers up... More

It was snowing and extremely cold but so worth the visit. We couldn't walk around too much but the area is spectacular. I love the way the snow clings to the trees, the silence, the rock faces- a tribute to Colorado. Loved it!

Eldorado Canyon, aka "Eldo," is a world classes rock climbing destination. Even if you are not a climber, it's worth the modest admission fee to see what's happening.
