Loved it! Strolled by the creek and checked out the rock formations as Boulder residents of all stripes and ages passed by on foot and on bike. Road noise is the only thing that keeps it from being 5 star.

Beautiful scenery. Very relaxing walk in the nature. It costs 8 dollars to enter the parking area and park your car.

Plan your visit for a weekday and you will nearly have the hiking trails to yourself. While hiking you can also watch the rock climbers. Enjoy the beauty.

We hiked the rattlesnake trail and was a nice view at the top. The area is a magnet for climbers and although we don't climb, it was very enjoyable watching them climb so close by. Beautiful river winds it way through and we had a bit of luck catching a couple fish. Although the park is smaller than we anticipated,... More

This place is an easy 1/2 hour drive from downtown Boulder. It is low key with several hiking trails and some rock climbing spots. It is clean and well managed with small picnic areas ( you may have to call ahead for a spot.. The photo ops for the small river cascading through this location is good especially for its... More

Whether you park and hike on a marked trail or pick you own rock to climb, this canyon is a magnificent site to see. The road to drive in is quite narrow and winding, so dry weather is the time to go. Nice to stop and watch the fisherman or put your feet in the rushing creek on a hot... More

Just a handful of miles south of Boulder on Broadway, this gem will surprise you with sheer rock walls, rock climbers that look like ants, and the beautiful colors as the sun hits various parts of the canyon. Rock climbers come from all over the country. You can take a relatively short hike up to where a hotel used to... More

Came here to check out the hiking and as an experienced hiker I was very bored. The park has limited general hiking trails and no good loops. The staff were not helpful and I was surprised that the only source of drinking water was a little water fountain inside the main building. The maps were also very confusing. Trails not... More
