At the heart of Downtown Boulder is the Pearl Street Mall, a wonderfully charismatic four-block-long pedestrian mall that celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2007. Colorful, bright flowers fill the mall almost the entire year and street performers, with a multitude of talents, make the Pearl Street Mall one of the best people-watching destinations anywhere. « less

Couldn't believe what has happened to Boulder in the past few years. The streets are lined with angry high people. What are they putting in the weed they are smoking? In one hour, we witnessed a trashed biker spit on a car filled with children. A street performer became angry at an Asian woman who was too shy to participate... More

I would have giving 5 stars , but I got a 15 parking ticket from the pay and park because my back right tire was on a white line, plus it was neat not as cool as I thought it would be, reminded me of Mass. Street in downtown Lawrence, Kansas. with all the struggling artist and musicians . You cant... More

I was thoroughly unimpressed. Most of the shops are touristy, hippie-dippie, or a bunch of Asian junk. There were a couple of boutiques I liked, Bliss and Violetta among them, but for the most part it was not my style. Wide selection of restaurants, so it's good for lunch. But as a shopper I was bored.

This is a great place, to walk, talk and watch. Many varied shops, from art, cooking, books, audio, maps, soaps, and toys - to bars and resturants and ice cream. Places for the kids to climb, play and get wet. Street performers. Not sure why, but dogs are NOT allowed.

I thought I did my research. Came into town and brought our dog. Everything I was finding was talking about how dog friendly Boulder is. You can no longer bring your dogs with you to the mall or to the farmers market. Just a heads up!

We spend afternoon walking the mall, enjoying the ambiance, the musician, the shops offering sweet and before leaving, a good meal and the end of the walk way. Just Parking was a bit of complicated... Not much space.. You have to watch the time to be sure you put enough money until you finish your meal. ..Have a great day!

Interesting place. We really liked walking up and down the mall. There are a lot of shops (of all kinds) and places to eat here. You can see a street performer about every 50 feet. Some are really good (“Reed”) and some looked like they forgot to take some meds... We parked at the parking garage off the strip. I... More

Came to check out the mall and see the shops. Interesting place with good food and shops. Parking was easy to find and do. Would love to come back when we had more time.

A great place for family and couples, nice restaurants and good people watching. I take my family to the Pearl St mall weekly because my son loves it.

Great place to spend the day with family. Lost of street art and curious stores. Great restaurants, and beautiful flower decorations
