Situated in the heart of an energetic city is beautiful, historic Downtown Boulder. At the heart of Downtown Boulder is the Pearl Street Mall, a wonderfully charismatic four-block-long pedestrian mall that celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2007. Colorful, bright flowers fill the mall almost the entire year and street performers, with a multitude of talents, make the Pearl Street Mall one of the best people-watching destinations anywhere.

Good way to spend a day. Lots of shops, places to eat and drink. There are usually performers on the streets which is interesting to watch. Good people watching for sure!

there were so many cool shops and restaurants to check out, it was a fun afternoon here. I have never seen a larger bookstore than Boulder Books! There were thrift stores and upscale stores, and home decor stores so really kind of pleasing everyone. Lots of options to stop and grab ice cream, coffee or a meal too

We enjoyed browsing the shops and hitting up happy hour and dinner on the patios of multiple bars and restaurants. The Kitchen is the best!

We ran out of time exploring the many locally owned stores and restaurants. We especially loved the Liberty Puzzle Store!

My ashes will be scattered here. I have a special connection with this place. My kids and I discovered it 3 years ago. Since that discovery I have returned many times to shop, drink, and listen all the amazing music. If you are close to Boulder when traveling....make s stop at Pearl Street.

This is a wonderful place. It was the first of its kind when it was built, and there were a lot of objections. It has great stores and restaurants, while maintaining a local flair without too many chains. It is fun to watch the entertainers on a warm night, with the backdrop of the mountains. There is really no place... More

Take your time as your stroll this area; sit on a bench with a cup of chi or a a cup of joe and just breath it all in. Then head into the local shops, especially the wooden puzzle shop, and enjoy.

rally nothing particularly interesting. A few freaky people but they were not especially intriguing. The shops were fairly ordinary, and the prices were sky high at some of them (!!!). The candy/joke store at the north end on the west side was an exception. The has some fun schmaltzy games and toys and stuff. The "art" shops were profoundly overpriced!

The Pearl Street Mall-Boulder is a vibrant and eclectic pedestrian mall with lots of things to do and ton of things to see and experience. There are tons of little shops, fine restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream parlors. I like to visit this place again and again as you never know what kind of experience you encounter each time...
