This is a fun Western Museum, inside and out. Quite an extensive outdoor bronzed life- sized Western themed statues. Inside many colorful cowboy and Indian paintings. Even a few which were painted by American Indians, but only a few. There are smaller bronze statues interspersed through out the paintings. There is an extensive gift shop with all the things you... We were too late in the day to catch a tour, but we looked around the museum, card area, gift shop and sculpture garden after visiting the Celestial Seasonings Tea Factory a few minutes drive away. Being that we were there late in the day, it was a little dead in atmosphere, but for free, it's not a bad way... More

Not just a great selection of greeting cards, but one of the best museums of Western Art we have ever visited! We will continue to visit everytime we go to the Boulder area. Should be on everyone's 'to visit' list!

Impressive free guided tour of the greeting card production area. Leanin' Tree started with western style Christmas cards created by 2 men with an idea in 1949. The family business grew to current production of 30 million cards/year. All types of cards are designed by artists who may submit their designs. Birthday cards most popular sellers, but Halloween card market... More

Wonderful outdoor sculpture garden. Western theme. There is a tour but we were too late for that. The artwork inside of sculptures and paintings is great. Nice gift shop too. Shouldn't miss this. Was recommended after our tea tour, by the tea tour guide. Thanks!

What a find! This free museum is a real gold mine: This is the history of the West (past and present) told through art. I walked away with a new appreciation of the history, culture, vastness and depth of the old and new west. The day we came was pouring rain, so we skipped the outside sculpture garden. Inside had... There is an outside sculpture garden which we enjoyed. We just took our time walking the small garden and reading of the various sculptures. It was interesting and nice to enjoy being outside. We were there on a Saturday so the actual tour of the plant was not available but we enjoyed looking at and reading about the mass collection... More

This was a delightful surprise...went to tour the Leanin' Tree Card factory and found that they also house a wonderful western art museum! The tour of the card factory was informative and entertaining. Great products! The museum was expansive and has something for everyone, paintings, sculpture, carvings, etc. A wonderful collection and more than you would expect from the outside!... More

I think this outstanding collection would be better served in a setting other than a greeting card warehouse in an industrial park, but it's a place I've taken many out of town visitors and love to keep going back to. The artwork ranges from the majestic to the comic to the bizarre - a horse sculpture made of welded junk.... More
