I love the Boulder Library. I check out a lot of books. If they aren't in the entire flatiron system I go to Prospector and have the book sent to my local branch. I also like reading at the library. The Main Branch is wonderful. More

The Boulder Library has a great variety of books and their online offerings are excellent as well. It's such a shame that they've put in a lame vending machine in the walkway over the creek where there used to be a cafe. Surely someone could make a go of it there?!?! Also - I do wish they would somehow limit... More

Great library system! Love the online wait list and option to pick up at the nearest library. The main library is a bit uncomfortable with all the homeless. The staff at Meadows is fabulous!! More

The Library is right along the Boulder Creek Path, so it's a convenient stop. It's a modern building, with lots of light, so delightful on a bright or cloudy day. I go to catch up on the magazine issues that I've missed. There's lots more though, including a terrific children's section, with storytelling and other programs. More

The Boulder Public Main Library is beautifully set along Boulder Creek. The architecture of the front of the building skillfully reflects the shape of the nearby Flatiorns. The library has a art gallery with frequent interesting exhibits and also offers many free programs. More

This is a large, modern library, with everything you can think of. A ton of old and new and independent films; variety of magazines, good history books and business tips. It includes a theater which shows old films and new festival movies. Big kids' section. A small art gallery with frequent showings of local art. Talks and club meetings (eg,... More

Boulder has several libraries, including those at the universities and research labs. But the main public library is also very nice - for typical materials that one may wish from a public library, plus having a good collection of local materials. Redesigned and rebuilt in the 1990s (if I remember correctly), it's nicely sited along Boulder Creek, with convenient bus... More

Libraries are a great resource for families, and boulder public is a very kid and family friendly space. We love it here. We also love that libraries make a list of places to review. More
