A beautiful, progressive library with good size parking lot. Return boxes are plentiful. A bike trail runs throught the area.

Lovely atmosphere. Great collection of audio, CDs, books, of course, and more. Helpful staff. Great Boulder history collection in the stacks.
Lots of books! Able to get books from other libraries in Colorado. Often look up to see what they have when I do business research or any home projects. Staff is very helpful. Love the main library. Pick up most of the books I place on hold at the Meadows library. I love the hold system... look up books online...

BPL is in a wonderful, central location, down the hill from the CU main campus, and just before the "Boulder bustle" of Pearl Street. It offers good wifi, light snacks, a decent selection of books and computers, public art from children and professionals, and a myriad of activities, most of which are in the auditorium. Here I've studied, relaxed with...

Great set-up. Easy to move around and find your favorite. Nice place to sit and research or read or surf.

The kind of library where you lose yourself for hours, in the best of ways. This place has just about everything for anyone.
Located literally straddling Boulder Creek downtown, this architecturally pleasing library is the kind of place where it's fun to read or just meander. With lots of windows, you don't feel hemmed in. And if you do want to get outside, just check out a book and walk 20 yards to a bench by the creek.
There's a nice-sized theater that...

I love the Boulder Library. I usually visit several times a week. Books, DVDs, audio books, so much to choose from. And if they don't have it, there are partner libraries all along the Front Range that share resources. Tons of good local information, art displays, and a place to relax a bit that's when you're tired of the mall.
This is exactly the kind of library you want in Boulder-mellow, quiet, scenic, but with access to computers and materials you might need for exploring the area. Also just a nice place to take a break while walking around in the heat or cold.
