Interesting building but every time I've visited there are homeless inside and outside. It is a very popular facility and the computers are always all in use. I'd say it is average otherwise (content wise). Not worth a special trip to have parking issues and potentially be assaulted with gross smells or overpowering marijuana scents.

The Boulder Public Library is an incredible resource for all residents and visitors of the Boulder area. Not only does the library offer a wide variety of books, media, etc for resources of enjoyment and education, there are tremendous programs for self-improvement. One such program is Boulder Reads!. Boulder Reads offers free reading tutoring for anyone whose reading level is... More

The library itself - the resources (books, magazines, computers) and librarians - are all fantastic. The downtown building is being renovated right now but is huge. There are lots of places to sit and read or browse. There was a cafe on the bridge over the river and there will be a new one opening soon. The only problem is... More

Beautiful library, now undergoing renovation. Modern look and easy to get to. Located in Boulder, on beautiful grounds that you can sit and enjoy the views and the river that flows alongside it. During the spring, summer and fall the area is filled with a farmer's market (twice a week) and many weekend fairs. Great to just stroll along the... More

Wow is the best word for the Boulder Public Library - from its location along the Boulder Creek Path, to the inspiring architecture, to the superb natural lighting on the second floor, this is the BEST public library anywhere in the USA.

I will preface this review with...I love libraries. This one was no exception. The people that work here are lovely. They smiled and greeted as I entered and asked if they could help me. There is a small water brook inside the library that adds a little extra touch! Please note that right now they are renovations going on. I... More

This is so much more than just a library. There are art exhibits, performances, lectures and so much more. A visit to the library on Broadway and Arapaho is a must do in Boulder!

If you are visiting Boulder, this is a must see building for it's incredible architectural style including lots of windows, a siral staircase, and a great view over Boulder Creek from the second floor. The reference room on the second floor has a south facing balcony with spectacular views of the Flatirons. They also have free wifi, free concerts, free... More

This is a neat library to visit but there are a large number of homeless typically in the building or right out in front but that is part of the Boulder makeup. The library is currently undergoing some renovations so access is a little different. It's a good place to stop and read the paper/use the restroom. We have a... More

This library is filled with homeless. It stinks the moment you walk in. The library itself is extremely outdated. For such a large city with and extreme amount of money I am disappointed.
