As an adult, there is no issue but for some reason they are attracted to children. Unfortunately, homeless people are plenty at this place. I have children and the homeless consistently would come up to my children. I would ask them to leave my children alone and they would cuss at me and call me names. I felt very unsafe... More

If you haven't been to the public library in a while, go! It has a bright new feeling, and if the check out machines look like airport security to you, there is always a librarian who hurries over to provide assistance. Many of the books are in new places, and the upstairs is very much rearranged, that's where the computers... More

A well stocked city library for intelligent and diversified population. nice ambience, broad collection of music CDs, travel and general DVDs, good collection of current periodicals/magazines.

We only stopped in to see what it looked like, but a lovely location - very open and sunny, plus a nice cafe.

When I first moved to Boulder, the library was a great hangout for homeless and teens. Pot smoking behind the library kept many away. This has changed over the years. Excellent staff, interesting interior and places to sit quietly to read.

I love my local library. Renovated over the past 1 1/2 yrs., it now sports pods of activity, and a more modern approach in its presentation of books, music media and computer access.

The BPL has always given us much joy..........and its new remodel is icing on the cake. SO spacious! While we DO take out books and movies.....we receive the most joy sitting and reading magazines and GOING TO CONCERTS! Hubby does go to lectures. This past weekend LUNA ITZELL performed Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.(June 20,June21). What a magical voice and... More

It is one of the best libraries and great location too! New restaurant just opened featuring fresh ingredients. Located only a couple of blocks from Pearl Street.

I love libraries and make an effort to visit the main library of the area that I visit. I have visited the Boulder Public Library on several occasions before but did not get a chance to visit the library after its renovation until today. The library looks good and inviting. Above all this library location by the boulder creek, and... More
