Cool cabin community and and with concert facilities. Looks like a nice spot to stay for families with kids. General store and dining hall on premises

We parked here as we walked up the Flatirons. Very cute "park" and the cabins look adorable. The restaurant is nice and the park holds some nice concerts for a park this size. Will look in to the cabins next time

There are only a few Chautauqua's left in the US with their mission of making the world a more artistic, better place. Come see some of the history and have a good meal in the process.

We hiked this area and had a great time. Lots of beautiful sites to see and looking down over the valley was absolutely breathtaking. Our hike took us about 2 hours but you could easily do more or less. Stop at the Ranger Station at the bottom of the trails and they can suggest places to hike.

Truly beautiful and convenient hiking right in town. Can get ultra crowded when there are big games or parents weekend for CU. But an absolute must if coming to Boulder

This is very kid and dog friendly hiking. Lots of people come up just for a quick hike though you could certainly keep going on further if you wish. There is an interesting museum at the trail head, and a pretty park with lots of grass and trees for picnics or playing with the kids.

This is a great place for a day hike. Most of the trails are in the woods so you get ample shade. The trails can be pretty rocky so I'd recommend decent hiking shoes/boots to prevent turning an ankle. Also, there are maps available - get one. It's a maze of trails and it will help you control your hike... More

Hiked early morning here and then walked through the grounds which are immaculate and beautiful. Nice restaurant for coffee or breakfast. Very relaxing.

Wife and I came here not entirely knowing what to expect. We just figured we'd "hike some trails." And we did. We parked in a small lot by the ranger cottage, grabbed a bottle of water, and started up the Bluebell Road trail. I would guess it's somewhere between mostly beginner and a bit of intermediate. The trail was cake... More

My husband and I only spent a few hours in Boulder but Chautauqua was recommended to us. We weren't very prepared but decided to go for a hike anyways. The gals in the ranger cottage gave us a quick hike (only about an hour) and it was beautiful. It was HOT and there wasn't a lot of shade on the... More
