As a Boulder resident we go up to Chautauqua frequently. Food, hiking, beautiful views, and concerts. You really could not ask for a nicer place. Get there early in the summer as it gets very busy. Food at the dining hall is very good. Not amazing, but nice. Hiking is some of the best around.

While visiting family, we rode through the park. The views were gorgeous! We took many pictures also.

We did this trail as a team event and thought it was a very good hike with some climbs . I have heard a lot of people spot mountain lions and bears on this trail . One of the must do trails in Boulder .

I love to go and run and hike here. There are lot of different hikes to go and do. I love the 3rd flat hike and it doesn't take too long.

We had our staff lunch here during our retreat & my Flatbread was fantastic. It's beautiful historic building as well. Definitely worth a trip.

Great place to visit for shorter hikes, accessible bathrooms and convenient parking... Not to mention so close to town!

If you want a "real" hike without going into the mountains, Chautaugua is the place to go! The park is located right smack in the middle of Boulder, though the parking situation can be difficult and it fills up quickly, there are some dedicated "lots" for the park-goers. The surrounding areas is a residential area - I'm not sure if... More

I was visiting my daughter in Boulder and she took me to Chautauqua for a hike. There are many different paths that you can take here from easy to the more difficult so you can pick what suits you. The backdrop of the flatirons is wonderful. We tried to walk all the way up to the Royal Arch but as... More
