I love hiking here. On weekends and really nice days, it can be tough to park. Overall a great place to hike with some great views of Boulder.

One of the best aspects of living in Boulder is being able to hike the trails at Chautauqua in the shadows of the glorious Flatirons. There is something for everyone, including some rock climbing if you're so inclined (I'm not). If possible, trek to the top. The views make it worthwhile. As for the other features of Chautauqua, I have... More

You can't beat Chautaqua for a walk, a hike, a meal or a performance of music or lecture. Beautiful views.

Love this place. Fun hikes, large open space to play. Beautiful view of the Flatirons. A great place to bring out of state guests

This park is well maintained and has a Ranger Station, a Dining Hall, and Cabins. You can park your car here and head up the Flatiron trails. We tried the Dining Hall and had a great brunch. They have an excellent bar and the food is much better than what you would expect from a place called "The Dining Hall"

It was a gorgeous day, and we decided to take a little hike in the area. If we had been there during the snowy season, it looks like there was sledding in some areas. We took a nice hike along the path. Beautiful scenery. For younger kids there was a play area, and there were restrooms available.

We had dinner here twice this winter and we love the atmosphere. The service in the dinning room is warm and attentive but the food is just average. We definitely will return when it is warmer to enjoy the grounds more.

It's the heart of the town. It is a large grassy park with open space and hiking trails that take you into the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The park's scenery makes Boulder famous. Talk about Purple Mountains Majesty. There is a restaurant where you can have brunch & dinner. Some people get married here & every couple comes here... More

I was not aware of there being food avaiable at this attraction. With having said that the trails and the views are breathtaking. This is a great place to be for execise and a view. It was my first place to visit after arriving in Boulder.

The atmosphere and views in the summer on the outdoor porch can't be beat but the breakfast is overpriced and if you are hungry I do not recommend eating here. It wouldn't take much to add some garnish and maybe another piece of toast or something to raise the perceived value.
