Such a great layout, well thought out paths and beautiful views. We also strolled though the village of cottages and gardens, the learning centers and OMG the concert hall that was doing a orchestral rehearsal! Really, just old school beauty.

We heard about the important role that Chatauqua had played and still plays in the cultural history of the west so enjoyed hiking in the Flatirons, exploring the Chatauqua village, seeing the auditorium and lunching on the lawn. Very memorable - we would love to attend a concert there at some point.

This is an outstanding place to hike and be part of nature. There are great trails, an old historic building and cottages and restaurant, etc. It gets extremely crowded especially in the summer so going early is the best. Parking is harder to get the later you arrive also.

We parked here as we walked up the Flatirons. Very cute "park" and the cabins look adorable. The restaurant is nice and the park holds some nice concerts for a park this size. Will look in to the cabins next time

There are only a few Chautauqua's left in the US with their mission of making the world a more artistic, better place. Come see some of the history and have a good meal in the process.

We hiked this area and had a great time. Lots of beautiful sites to see and looking down over the valley was absolutely breathtaking. Our hike took us about 2 hours but you could easily do more or less. Stop at the Ranger Station at the bottom of the trails and they can suggest places to hike.

Truly beautiful and convenient hiking right in town. Can get ultra crowded when there are big games or parents weekend for CU. But an absolute must if coming to Boulder

This is very kid and dog friendly hiking. Lots of people come up just for a quick hike though you could certainly keep going on further if you wish. There is an interesting museum at the trail head, and a pretty park with lots of grass and trees for picnics or playing with the kids.
