Great food in a very relaxed atmosphere nestled next to the Flatirons. The park has music concerts of national acts and

Chautauqua is one of the most pleasant places to dine in Boulder. Lunch was wonderful and reasonably priced. Eating outside is the best place to eat.

A number of hiking trails leading into the Flatirons begin at Chautauqua Park. They are of differing difficulties and lengths. The views of Boulder and the valley are magnificent. Parking can be a big difficult.

There is always something to see or do at Chautauqua - whether it's dinner, people-watching, hiking, silent films or other live entertainment, and of course, the view can't be beat!

We visited Chautauqua Park because our niece recommended the hike for great views of the city of Boulder. I read all the reviews on TripAdvisor, and many reviewers remarked how difficult the hike was, but worth it. It was a very challenging hike, you are going "up" for most of the hike. Although the park is beautiful, we were very... More

Beautiful area to hike in, along with a great summer program of music, lectures, author discussions, etc.

If you're looking for a great hike with amazing views of the valley, please check this out! Long hike, but it's well worth it. If you like climbing, this is an excellent place for that, too!

This is a great place for anyone single or not with a family and with little ones. They have a great play ground. The hiking is fun and some trails littles can do easily. Bring plenty of water. The restaurant is a bit pricey and the food not great! The staff consistently seem unhappy which makes me question management. The... More

Spent the evening climbing the trails. Beautiful views and we even saw a deer that let us get within ten ft.

Our entire family loves to hike here. Dogs are welcome and they have so many varying trails that any level hiker can be satisfied. It might feel like it isn't well marked but it is just keep walking and every turn has a post with directionals. The views of the city are nice and there is plenty of shade on... More
