My 12 year old daughter and I heard about Vail Valley Paragliding and did our research. The website and ensuing conversations got us excited about he experience. Any semblance of fear quickly went away once we met Dave and Bob. These guys were true professionals. Their passion for the sport and clear mastery of ensuring we had a great safe... More

Owner Dave and pilot Kris were so patient in explaining everything to this first-time senior glider. I hadn't ever considered doing this but decided to try it. Things went smoothly even after the aborted attempt due to the breeze dropping at the last minute. The flight gliding down 1500 feet seemed so short - I could have stayed up there... More

Many problems with this group. The web site says that the flights are 15-30 minutes. In reality if you do the 7:45 flight your flight will probably be under 10 minutes. They overbook reservations. On the day we attempted to do this activity 7 people were left who were unable to fly. They claimed it was the weather and the... More

You can lead the Blind to the light if they allow you, but you cannot make them see. In the United States Tandem Paragliding is allowed in the context of instruction and is not intended to be simple entertainment. It’s not a concession ride that is done for you or happens to you. IT doesn't begin and end at a... More

These guys are awesome! This was a major item on my bucket list that I was able to cross off, and these guys made it super easy. I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous, but as soon as arrived David, the instructor, explained how smooth everything was going to work. He was an incredible teacher, and I... More

I called david before I came out and he let us knowwhat day would be great. He was amazingly awesome at knowledge of the winds and weather! It was just an unbelievable experience! I just wish it lasted longer. I really hope to do this again. He also pointed us to a great lunch place afterwards.

We took our 8 and 10 year olds to paraglide with 4 of the instructors of Vail Valley. They were so nice to our kids and made it a fantastic experience overall.

While vacationing in Avon this year, we booked a tandem flight for my step-son with Vail Valley Paragliding for the morning of 7/16. We met Dave Champaign at a nearby gas station and followed him and another family to the landing site near Edwards just up the road. There we met the pilot my step-son would fly with, Greg Kelley.... My friend John and I went to Colorado to explore. A local named Valerie suggested Vail Valley Paragliding[she basically suggested we go jump off a mountain, still trying to absorb if she liked us or not(j/k)]. We called David and Bob to set up a time. They worked with our schedule to set up a day that would work best... More

If I said that I am terrified of heights, it would be the understatement of the year. My wife wanted to do this and I grudgingly agreed to call these guys to inquire (nothing more). I called David 2 days before we were scheduled to be in Vail and he explained details to me - including the ideal time to... More
