Description: Cornerstone Cellars was born out of a passion for great wines in 1991 when...
Cornerstone Cellars was born out of a passion for great wines in 1991 when founders Drs. Michael Dragutsky and David Sloas crushed their first five tons of Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. Today the founders of Cornerstone Cellars and have been joined by Managing Partner Craig Camp, Winemaker Jeff Keene, in the Napa Valley, and a group of Memphis based partners led by Hal Lewis and John Carrier. All share one goal: to make compelling, exciting wines that speak clearly of the vineyard, variety and vintage from which they are born. All of our wines receive minimal, gentle winemaking relying more on nature than technology as the path to making great wine. All come from organic or sustainably farmed vineyards. While our Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon remains the cornerstone of our portfolio, this year will see the premiere release of a very special wine. Named simply, "The Cornerstone" this wine represents the pinnacle of our vision of Napa Valley winemaking.

As club members, we stopped in during our visit this month. Since we had called and let them know we were coming, Chris greeted us, provided us with a cheese tray and led us through our tasting. Chris is exceptional. Her family has lived in the region for four generations. Her knowledge about the region, Yountville, the growing, harvesting and... More

It's a gem among the hundreds of wineries in Napa Valley. We're so fortunate we discovered it via our local wine shop in the mid-Atlantic. These are top notch wines and we are pretty picky. It is now one of our very best wineries that we will always seek out.

We really enjoyed the tastings offered and very impressed with how friendly and knowledgeable the staff was. We were not rushed and enjoyed visiting with Stephanie our congenial pourer. We liked the wine so much we ever joined the wine club with absolutely so pressure to do so. Best deal on a wine club we've found so far.Don't miss stopping... More

I ended up joining the club because the syrah and other wines were to die for. Excellent customer service too.

Primarily a wine tasting visit. Staff did excellent job of attending to party and providing information on various wines.

My husband and I stumbled upon this place a year ago and became immediate fans of the wine. We returned last month to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary and were amazed by Celeste and Beth's kindness and thoughtfulness. They were so excited about our "anniversary" visit that they went out their way to make our visit special by providing us... More

I had tasted and purchased Cornerstone wines locally before our trip to CA. Since we are from Memphis, and a couple of the owners are physicians at the hospital where I work, I really wanted to stop by their tasting room. We didn't regret it. In fact, we loved it. Not only did we get to taste a variety of... More

We had a group tasting and leaned very little about what makes their wines different. Wines seemed very average and it was the only winery (out of 12) where we did not buy a bottle.

My husband and I stopped in here on a trip through Napa and had a great time. The wines were very good. My favs were the Chardonnay (and I am not a Chardonnay drinker), Oregon Pinot Noir, and the Syrah. Ben helped us out while we were there and he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines as well... More

Located in Yountville not far from a few other tasting rooms all open until 7:00pm it was a great place to wind down the day. I was not able to get through the whole tasting before they had to close, but they invited me to come back the next day at no extra charge. These guys understand wine and customer... More
