We visited Goosecross based on its high TripAdvisor ratings, and we were not disappointed. We made an appointment for the seated tasting, which occurred on a covered porch overlooking the vineyards. Jose was our host and made our experience very memorable. Our tasting included just me and my husband with Jose pouring. Jose taught us a lot about wine, and... More

We loved this vineyard so much, we will absolutely return. Wines were delicious, matched only by the great people! This was truly a highlight of our trip. Oh and you must try the bacon chocolate bar!!

We really enjoyed tasting the wine at Goosecross. The staff was very friendly and helpful and did not pressure us to buy anything (even though we had a coupon from our inn). The wine tasted very good, and the tasting room was intimate. The grounds are beautiful. We loved that this winery is off the beaten path and will definitely... More

We came here today for our third visit. We have been members for a little over a year. We really enjoy their wine as well as the people that work there but I think they charge a bit too much and I think it's gone up quite a bit since we first joined. Perhaps it's the new ownership? The tasting... More

We were referred to Goosecross and it surely didn't disappoint. This was our last stop in two days of wine tasting and touring. It is a smaller, boutique winery (make sure to hit some of these on your visit!). Goosecross is a little off the beaten path. They produce 6500 cases of wine a year on 9.5 acres. They do... More

Hello VA12, Thank you for your wonderful review. We are off the beaten path a little bit, but I am glad you were able to find us. Chenin Blanc is a great white wine that we make here and it is the perfect summer time wine. I am glad you enjoyed your visit at Goosecross and please come back to... More

We have been club members for over 10 years. We try to visit every month. The wines have always been superb. And the staff are the best people; always friendly and fun. They also have great special events several times a years. We are looking forward to the Lobster fest coming this year. It's small and sometimes noisy but a... More

On a tour of the Napa Valley in the late 1990's, I asked one of the more well-known wineries about good Chardonnays. They directed me to Goosecross. It's hard to find, not on the main roads. I loved their Chardonnays and joined their wine club. I've been a loyal member since. In addition to great Chardonnays, their Pinot Gris is... More

I've done a few tasting trips to the Napa / Sonoma area over the years with large and small groups of friends. Usually we've planned ahead and picked where we're going to go ahead of time. On a recent trip a friend and I just wandered. We started at Martini in Napa and asked for recommendations. Goosecross was one of... More

Hey Skaterdude, Thanks for coming to visit Goosecross and for your terrific review! Yes, you are right that we buy the majority of our grapes from local growers since we have just 9.5 acres planted in four different grape varieties on the property. Normally, the starlings come by in late November & December to eat all the leftover grapes off... More

Amazing experience we felt like we were at friends home. Great friendly staff especially Jose. Everyone was engaging, and happy to be there. It is reservation only, but they were happy to have us without a reservation. It has a cozy laid back atmosphere, and the grounds were relaxing. We could of stayed all day. Their tasting had the most... More
