My dear wife and I visited Goosecross last April (see our review). We had such a great time then that we wanted to return. Wine tastings are now provided by reservation so we made sure that our terrific hostess, Denise, from last time was available. We knew that the new tasting room is now open and we were very impressed... More

I went here based on the reviews and I am so glad they were true. I came here the day after Christmas as the first appointment with my cousin. She had just turned 21 a few days prior so I wanted her to experience Napa. Denise was great! She gave us a very educational tasting experience and explained all of... More

We decided to stop at this winery on a whim and won't return. Their website listed a variety of red and white wines but they only poured red for tasting. Despite a limited number of tastings going on, three, the staff was non existent and didn't care to provide any information. We passed on purchasing any of their wines and... More

This winery was beyond gorgeous. The window behind the bar showed their wonderful porch that looks out to the mountains and vast vineyards. Based purely on the looks of this place, I would give it full stars, however the wine speaks for itself. The Cab Sauv from last year was full bodied and fruity while still being dry. Their Syrah... Have always loved Goosecross - the old tasting room was so charming and the staff (Colleen!!) always made the visit to this family winery so fun. The aroma of the chardonnays always signals "Napa Valley" to me. We visited last week and were anxious to see the place - now that there is a new owner, new winemaker and a... More

WOW! were the first words we all uttered as we walked in to the recently opened tasting room. Fortunately the day we visited it was a beautiful clear sunny day and so after admiring the vineyard and mountains beyond through the large picture window we were able to go and sit outside on the decking to do our tasting. It... More

The new tasting room opened just 3 weeks ago. It is stunning. They have literally brought the outside in with a fabulous picture window which opens to their lovely deck. You are sitting in the vineyard and looking at the mountains with the geese flying overhead as if summoned by their namesake winery. Their Chardonnay is smooth and clean, their... More

We were at Goosecross over a year ago and appreciated their wines. They've now moved into a beautiful, yet still reasonably sized facility. Not only are the wines good, but the staff here is wonderful. They actually recognized us from the prior visit and made our visit unique. We could have spent the whole day on the patio.

Today we were fortunate to enjoy a tasting led by Jose Garcia at the new facility at Goosecross Cellars- what a pleasure! Jose knew the wines and tailored our experience to the wines we enjoyed. The new facility was absolutely gorgeous! I can't recall a more beautiful venue to enjoy the wines and the view. The wines were delicious, we... More

We visited this small boutique vineyard on the basis of other positive tripadvisor reviews. One concern for us, though, was the mention of construction in the vineyard. Fortunately, when we arrived, there was no construction; instead a beautiful modern building designed for visitors' comfort. The construction had been completed. Luckily for us, we were the only two visitors. Wine expert... More
