We visited Hopper Creek as part of a tour we were on through Platypus tours (also recommended). Hopper Creek is a small winery that produces only about 1000 cases per year. Our host at the winery, Darren, was awesome. In addition to being unbelievably informative he was highly entertaining. Oh, yeah, their wines are very tasty as well. Highly recommended... More

What a delightful experience. After all the fancy wineries, sheet one felt rushed most of the time...these two guys took their time and expertise to give us a full educational wine experience. Loved the beautiful surroundings, the vastness of the colored vines...This was my second visit and won't be my last.

We visited Hopper Creek with Platypus Wine Tours, which was great because it was not on our radar and that is exactly why you want a local showing you around. We were lucky enough to show up during season with a row of berries to be crushed so that was a fun "Napa tourist" experience. But what I LOVED about... More

16 of us from Ohio here for the CAL Ohio State football game spent three days in Napa Valley. I'm local so found places our group would find unique, different and of corse, great wine. Our entire group loved this place. We already had stopped at four places via Napa Valley Tours and Transportation (awesome service), and I almost cancelled... More

This vineyard is an experience. You can go to all of the big, known, pretentious vineyards all day in Napa, but this vineyard is laid back and fun. Yes, our guide was smoking and drinking tall boys but that is what makes this vineyard. He doesn't care. He is there to let you taste wine and have a good time.... More

We took the wine tour and this was our last stop. After 3 previous vineyards, it can become a little mondane. Markus was enthusiastic and upbeat, waking all of the vistors up for another round of wine tasting. Thanks for the great experience Markus!!!!!

I absolutely love Hopper Creek! Note: I believe the tastings are by appointment only. They're a small winery by Napa standards and make amazing wines. I haven't had a single one that I didn't like, but the estate Cab is stellar. The best part for me is the atmosphere, though. It's like hanging out at a friend's house and that... More

Visited Hopper Creek as part of a wine tour. So glad our guide choose Hopper Creek as our last stop. Dan made us feel very welcome, the winery was absolutely beautiful, and the wine was excellent!
