Owner description: Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley offers a unique lifestyle experience in wine country. Originally built in 1904 as a private residence, the manor is one of three stone buildings in Yountville, and one of only two listed on the National Register of Historic Places. As an art, design and wine gallery set amidst a contemporary, landscaped sculpture garden, Ma(i)sonry offers guests a respite and a retreat. Guests have a variety of choices for their wine tasting setting. They can enjoy the intimacy of one of our three private tasting rooms, lounge in either of the great rooms, or gather outdoors at individual and communal tables, around the fire pit, or while stretched out on a blanket on the lawn. The outdoor gardens are beautifully landscaped around architectural remnants and contemporary sculpture and are available for our clients to relax and enjoy a bite or a bottle of wine on their own before or after their tasting.

A refreshing break from the wineries we visited. Quirky yet well-done decor, decent tasting. We were here last year as well. Would return for a third year to see what new art they have for sale.

My sister had read about Ma(i)sorry and since we were heading up to the Napa Valley we scheduled an appointment for a tasting. Bryan was our wine guy and he did an excellent job! We had a private room upstairs and Bryan asked each of us what type of wines we like. They represent about 20 small, boutique wineries that... More

I run an art gallery in Melbourne, and now I realise I must relocate to a garden setting with wine! I loved this gallery space, the artworks, the sculpture garden and the chat we had with the curator whilst sipping a few wines. Must see if you are in Yountville.

Since Ma(i)sonry was highly recommended by this site we decided to check it out before our dinner reservations at Redd. Ma(i)sonry is a curator of art and boutique wines. They only have two of their own labels. We found the quality of the wines very average. The art gallery is interesting and the setting is lovely. When you make an... More

Went to this place b/c it is the where Pahlmeyer has wine tastings and I enjoyed their Jayson wine at a restaurant once. That said, this place is an art gallery and wine tasting area that represents many smaller boutique wineries. There was outdoor seating but large groups were outside and it was hot, so I opted to stay indoors... More

Beautiful venue with interesting works of all kinds, along with tastings from a wide variety of small vineyards and winemakers. We purchased art and joined the wine club!

you need an appointment but well worth it. if you are looking for many high end wines in one place this is the place to go. "ian" was our host, and he asked what we liked first and then brought us about 12 wines to try. all were excellent and we sent home too many bottles, but we could not... More

This is not like going to a general tasting room. You're not elbowing your way up to a bar and trying to get someone attention. We had a table to ourselves in a quiet courtyard. We had a somme approach us, ask us our tastes and then paired wines to those tastes. We had a brief description once served, were... More

What a great afternoon, Ma(i)sonry is an amazing showcase of art and boutique wines. We did a red and white flight with Brian and he was a great help. He tailored our experience to our liking of wines. His suggestions were great, I highly recommend it.

A charming place with interesting gallery and beautiful garden. The British woman who greeted us when we first entered was super nice and friendly. The receptionist who checked us in was a little stand offish. The gentleman who showed us around the place was a nice, thoughtful person. The wine tasting itself was ok. The gentleman who attended us was... More
