Description: Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley offers a unique lifestyle experience in wine...
Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley offers a unique lifestyle experience in wine country. Originally built in 1904 as a private residence, the manor is one of three stone buildings in Yountville, and one of only two listed on the National Register of Historic Places. As an art, design and wine gallery set amidst a contemporary, landscaped sculpture garden, Ma(i)sonry offers guests a respite and a retreat. Guests have a variety of choices for their wine tasting setting. They can enjoy the intimacy of one of our three private tasting rooms, lounge in either of the great rooms, or gather outdoors at individual and communal tables, around the fire pit, or while stretched out on a blanket on the lawn. The outdoor gardens are beautifully landscaped around architectural remnants and contemporary sculpture and are available for our clients to relax and enjoy a bite or a bottle of wine on their own before or after their tasting.

I liked coming here to experience wine tasting in a more laid back type of place. First of all I liked the art, but not enough to buy anything. I hear that anything that isn't "nailed down" is for sale. The items here might start looking better to me the more wine I tasted. I like that Maisonry isn't part... More

they have some interesting wines you would not find normally. However the "wine consultant" who was supposed to guide you through the options knew little about wine. I was especially disappointed by being served a glass of wine that was corked. Who knows how many other patrons paid to taste this previously opened bottle!

This tasting room is very unique and eclectic. It has fun art pieces and a great outdoor back patio great for an afternoon tasting. They offer a variety of wines from all over the world. The staff is super nice and very knowledgeable about art and wine. Cool place definitely add it to your list.

Headed here for a nice romantic stop but too many walking around art browsing to enjoy our wine experience. If you like Art and browsing you will love this place yet not romantic for couples. Wine was ok but there is better

We stopped in late in the day and they accommodated us, even though they were already booked with a large group. We were seated in the garden at a comfy table and asked to select the level of wines we wanted to taste. There were many boutique wines that I had never heard of before, many with no distribution channels... More

We visit every time we are in Yountville because there is always something beautiful and interesting. The rear gardens are lovely and have fabulous sculptures.

The atmosphere has been snobby in recent years. Years ago, they would have a little duo or trio playing music by the fire out back until 9 or 10, and we'd go every night of our trip. They stopped it a while back, and we've returned twice, but probably won't return again.

My husband and I made reservations for a Saturday at 5. We were warmly greeted when we walked in and taken to a private table in the garden. Brook was our tasting director and tailored all of the wines to our individual tastes. We had such a great time- it was relaxing and informative.

This was a great alternative to the standard vineyard tastings in Napa. Since they have numerous options you can taste single vineyard, mix it up, single style, etc. and the price is dictated by the bottle price of the samples. We let the server decide our samples for us and she was wonderful. You could walk around and look at... More

Great place to stop by and try many new wines in one spot. Don't miss out on the Fisher and the Jason. The staff was great and very helpful.
