The sparkling wine at Chandon was very nice, as are the grounds, but the building itself was not as attractive as other wineries. Its a larger winery which gets more tourist trafic than some of the smaller vineyards, and seemed a little run down inside. The bar area was a little better, but still less atmosphere than others. While there are some beautiful grounds and some nice bubbles, the experience at Chandon seemed overly commercial to our group. Domaine Chandon is a great place to visit in Yountville. We've been a few times and always enjoy driving up the tree-lined driveway to the winery. The grounds were beautiful and great for picture taking. Inside we tasted some delicious champagne and then sat outside in the court yard. Found some beautiful champagne glasses that will always remind me of my trip! More
