Hooked up with the Napa valley bike tours in Yountville. Spent a day riding back roads. Very scenic from a bike seat. Visited 3 vineyards for tastings. Catered lunch on a shady terrace. Well informed, tireless guide.

Thank you so much for the awesome review, Dale! As a point of clarification, I want to mention that while Dale uses the term "back roads" several times in his review, that is not how we describe the roads we ride here in Napa Valley. All of our Napa Valley routes include significant stretches along Hwy. 29 and/or Silverado Trail,... More

People here are do helpful! Our fourth time doing the self guided bike tour. Lunch waiting for you at a winery (thank you Yountville Deli), and wine pick up for you. Can't be overstated, they are GREAT!

The ride was a bit more difficult than advertised for those of us not in the best of shape. The tasting were great, the people we rode with were fun. The Rutherford House was my favorite winery of the day. We had lunch under the olive trees....an amazing day.

Thank you for your review, Jody! I'm glad it was a 5-star day and agree that lunch under the olive grove at Rutherford Ranch Winery is a great reward for the effort. All of our guided tour routes cover an average of 3-5 miles between stops at local wineries for tastings. I suspect the route you were on may have... More

The full day vineyard cycling tour with lunch and winery visits is a great choice for Napa Valley travelers who need an exercise break but still want to enjoy the region's reason for being. You do need to be in relatively good shape for this 15- to 16-mile trip, but you don't need to be a biking aficionado. Our excellent... More

Took the 930-4 all-day trip. Decent hybrid bikes and great informative guide, Gary. carol, our van supporters on, is a native and knows the story PF the Valley's growth overact 50 years. Silverado winery was nice first stop and the scenery stunning on a sunny day. You ride for 40 minutes or so then get to rest as you tour... More

I rented a great Specialized Roublaix Sport for an early morning 25 mile ride in the napa wine country. Dry Creek Rd loop. NVBT couldn't have been better or friendlier. Highly recommend them for the weekend warrior wanting to squeeze in a meaningful ride on a high performance bike before the wine tasting resumes.

Napa Valley Bike Tours has outstanding customer service and high quality bikes. Cindy make sure our bikes were exactly the right size and even changed one because it was slightly too high. She also helped us select a great scenic route. Very personalized attention. Excellent maps provided to guide you through your tour. There is a general store next door... More

We booked a private tour for 8 and visited two wineries, Saddleback and Bell. The ride was beautiful, bikes nice, a fairly flat ride and John, our guide, was very informative and knowledgeable. We rode to the first winery, did a wine tasting, (not too much!) then back onto the bikes to our next tasting. After our second tasting, lunch... More

$45 for the entire day was worth the experience. Upgrade to the GEL SEAT you'll thank me for it! We didn't mostly because we forgot once we got there and the associate didn't mention it so we left with the standard seat. 17 miles later we were hurting! The Rutherford loop is relaxing for the first few miles and then... More

This was my first bike event. Enjoyed the ride and views of the vineyards, uphill and downhill. Very serene. The only thing you have to be very careful not to bike outside the bike lane. Part of the route is a highway. Autos travel at 50 miles speed. One swipe and you're out. But there were police cars to guide... More

Hi, Marie, Congrats on your accomplishment! I want to start by clearing up any possible confusion for our readers. You began your review by saying, "This was my first bike event," and later stated, "There were police cars to guide and protect bikers." My deductive reasoning leads me to believe you were a participant in the annual Tour of Napa... More
