For those who have trouble driving mountain roads this is the easiest one to drive to in the socal area no switchbacks. I only goto this resort if there has been alot of natural snow. The resort is split into three areas the east resort is setup with long crusing runs, west resort has shorter runs and snowboard terrain parks,... More

We went here on Dec 31st 2015. I thought they would have more snow as it had been below freezing all week and there was some natural snow. They had only half the mountain open and then only about 30% of the runs. It was good for kids to learn how to ski and overall fairly fun for a short... More

Arrived today at Mtn. Highs Tubing at 9:30 and looked around and there is no snow except on the ski slopes and only 4 of the tubing lanes were open. Two of the four sessions were sold out. We just lucked out a family had bought two sessions very early but one of their young children would not participate. Otherwise... More

They have quite good ski academy - my kids learned how to ski from zero experience to making curves just in 1 day (about $100 / child). And ski academy also includes rental and lift ticket - that is a significant bonus compared with other resorts. They have a number of beginner lifts so it is a good place to... More

The drive was as easy as can be to a mountain resort; one minute you are enjoying the mountain side covered in yucca plants, which quickly give way to pine forest. Only a short curvy mountain road to the sledding area. The view from the top of the slope is a great! You feel the elevation as you look over... More

Mt High is local and the snow can be good if it's real snow not the "blown-fake-snow”. There are way too many out of control snowboarders taking over the mountian making it unsafe for skiers or beginners. The resort is somewhat 'run down'.

Skiing here tends to be average, and as far as Southern California, that's about as good as it gets. With that remark out of the way, you can have a _very_ _good_ time here, because you won't spend a lot of time to get here from LA, and that means you can get a good day of skiing in on... More

It's our first time to visit USA , not aware that we will be able to see snow since Carson city doesn't have it. My daughter in law scheduled this trip for us to experience it. At the foot of the mountain it was already cold. Upon reaching the site, there are people in groups, family, friends and officemates. Took... More

If you are looking for ski school with great coaches and reasonable price, this resort offer the best deal. Staff are friendly and cool. Food at both main cafeteria and the Grill and Bar place are great and reasonable price. Hours from 8 AM to 10 PM offer a great range of skiing time. Will come again and again for... More

We had fun at North Pole tubing park with our 7 year old. After reading reviews, I really thought it would a let down especially going on January 3 the last Saturday before school started back on monday. True the website should be more forthcoming with regards to how many lanes are open they say 10, but there were 6.... More
