So we were here on memorial weekend. We bought the tickets on the phone and the girl with the British accent that sold it to us said that we could buy priority tickets and that way we would NOT need to stand in line and would be guaranteed seating. So we bough the PRIORITY SEATING for more money. Show was... More

This was my first visit to LA so I HAD to visit the LF and I'm so glad I did. Thankfully I got the hotel (Westin Bonaventure) to pick up the taxi tab to the club b/c it cost $45 to get back! The comedy set was genius and the host (Ron G) was too funny. There was two drink... More

I am not really into comedy shows, however, I was bored and decided to google comedy clubs and found this place where Tim Allen was having a show, so I told myself, why not! Honestly, I would have missed a lot, the price of the ticket was very good, their drink restrictions was acceptable, the environment was comfy and the... More

Ok, it fits the same 'sleeze and cheese' description that Dangerfields in NYC has, but that's it's charm as well. The comics were off the chart. Really funny, very small crowd and just well worth the money. I just think the 2 drink minimum thing is really poor business. Just charge us the extra money and get it over with.... More

We went to the "Chocolate Sundaes" event at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood. Kevin Hart & DeRay Davis showed up for a surprise appearance at the 10 p.m. showtime. Before seating, ask the hostess for seats next to a table. We didn't have a table near us so we ended up holding our drinks for the entire show- didn't even... More

I bought these tickets for us as a group of 4 for our last Saturday in LA for the 10pm show, not knowing what comics would be showing up that night. We were surprised when we saw the line up a couple days before the show....Dane Cook, Brent Morin, Neal Brennan all amazing comics and some of our favourites. Seems... More

The Laugh Factory's staff was great and attentive. I love how close all the seats are to the stage. The comedians were super funny and I enjoyed my time there. Con though is that we decided to go to the Laugh Factory based on the fact that a specific comedian was scheduled but she didn't show. We were told she... More

The comedians were really funny! We enjoyed it so much, we stayed for the late show too. And then we got super lucky and Dane Cook popped by and did a set. The drinks were very reasonable ($5 domestic), the ticket price was cheap ($20), and the manager was super friendly and nice. Don;t miss this if you are in... More

Paid for VIP for a Friday night 10pm late show featuring Dane Cook who was incredible! A surprise visit from Paul Rodriguez was a special treat. We left at 1am and there were still 2-3 comics to go! Great value! Unfortunately there was a private party in the corner near us with a celebrity, and they never shut up throughout... More

We had so much fun. They had a great venue the comedians were well worth the time. The chairs were a bit uncomfortable but I guess they were trying to save on seating. We went to a 10:00 pm. showing and it was a lot of fun. They have a 2 drink minimum and they also sell sandwiches and chips... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
