Our hike through Griffith Park was one of the highlights of our trip to California. In doing research for our trip I came across this tour, it looked like a great way to see the city but I was a little apprehensive of that we could do such a hike. I was traveling with my husband and our two teenage... More

Everything everyone else has been saying is absolutely true. It was fun, spiritual, cultural, and one hell of an experience. If you exercise regularly, you'll be fine. The pace was great and Eric, the amazing tour guide, was absolutely made for this job. You start off in Hollywood near the Sunset Strip, make your way to a mansion I had... More

I have visited LA before and never really felt I had gotten to see the city on a human scale. This bike tour was the perfect way to see LA. We covered a lot of ground (32 miles) but there were plenty of rest stops which gave our excellent guide, Eric, an opportunity to fill us in on the history... More

Our tour was led by Eric, a fantastic tour guide and he could not have been more entertaining. I highly recommend the LA in a Day Bike Tour, you get to see so much in a few hours and you will leave feeling that it was so worth it and fun. This store has excellent customer service and their staff... More

Faith and Hayden made great guides. They imparted lots of interesting info on the safe but tiring ride. My tip: wear bike shorts!!! It is a long ride.

Hollywood bike tour 01/22/15 We only had 1 full day to explore hollywood, and couldn't be happier how we decided to go about it. Our tour guide Eric was very friendly & excellent at showing us the highlights and provided historical information about specific areas. We got to see so much on the bike. And it beats the tours I... Hate to be cliche - but what an amazing experience! Our guide Faith could not have been more fantastic, knowledgeable and engaging. I saw and learned more about LA than i ever could have alone or on a typical bus tour. Cycling through many neighbourhoods to admire the homes, architecture and scenery really made this a special type of tour.... More

I had a oportunity to go on a hike up to Hollywood mountain and Griffith Observatory with bikesandhikesLA. I have to say this is one of the most memorable experiences of LA for me. The views were breathtaking and my guide, Elsa, was extremely knowledgeable on the landmarks that could be spotted during the hike. She made the experience fun... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
