First time here and our group waited over 2 1/2 hours to get our drinks (8 for 2 drink min) while other people were served and others didn't clearly didn't abide by the 2 drink minimum. I politely asked to speak to a manager. I was introduced to the General Manager and explained the issue. He proceeded to send the... More

2 drink minimum. Long line of stand up comedians. Laughed till my sides hurt. Went to Kate show on Friday night. Began at 1030pm and left around 130am. They were still going! Parking sucks. Take an uber.

This place is a must if you have a sense of humor. You've got to go to the back room and hear some hilarious comedy. Young comedians starting out, start out here. I've seen Gilbert Godfried, and Andrew Dice Clay and many more get their start in the back room. Every visit is a surprise. A comedian ripped me last... More

We got to see a great lineup of pretty famous comedians one right after the other (Marc Maron, Chris D'elia, David Spade, Pauly Shore, etc). It was a great way to experience a ton of different comedy styles in one place. The drinks were not too expensive and the experience was quintessential comedy club.

This is one of the classic stand up comedy clubs in Hollywood. The place has so much history in it, playing host to countless classic comedians of the past, and still serves as a great venue for today's comedians. We went there on a Sunday night to see a show based on a recommendation and the headliner, Joe Romero, was... More

Went for one of their Saturday night comedy shows. Started at 10:30 and was over just before 2:00. The show was great all the comedians were well known and the tickets were $20 each. A few of the comedians were alright but the majority were great. Be warned don't come to late night comedy if you are easily offended. For... More

4/1/2015 - Saw Marc Maron, Louis CK dropped in unannounced, Whitney Cummings and Steve Byrne. Outside on the patio saw Ralphie May drive up in his black convertible BMW and talk to some people. $15 and 2-drink minimum. Bargain.

For $15, and a commitment to purchase 2 drinks (includes nonalcoholic) we got into the show that included 16 professional, known, comedians (several from comedy central). The show was from 9 pm til 2am!!! Some of the comedians were better than others, but what a value! We even had 1 comedy central comedian testing out jokes for the Justin Bieber... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
