Go on a weeknight and first follow them on instagram. They often post on weekdays for specific Original Room shows that if you show them the post you can get in for free. That's $15/person that you're saving. But you have to buy 2 drinks/person no matter what and all of the drinks, even the really low quality beers, are... More

We were in town for a couple of days and some of our plans were cancelled so we were looking for something fun to do. Decided to see a comedy show and this one looked good. We didn't really know who would be in the line up but we arrived about 9 pm on a Friday night. We were very... More

Went out after a business dinner with some work colleagues. Was not thrilled about the two drink minimum but the waitress was pleasant and we enjoyed our drinks. The comics were a bit raw with a bit more sex and drugs jokes than is my taste but we all enjoyed it and have some good references for work. The show... More

Stopped with a few friends on a Tuesday night for a "roast battle" in their Belly Room. Paid only $5 to get in with a 2 drink minimum. The comedians were all very friendly for the most part and they had a panel of comedians to judge the roasting. In terms of comedy experience I would give it a 5.... More

Amazing show! One of the best we've seen, great line up. We had an amazing time. The 2 drink minimum is a bit annoying but is the same in any comedy club, the bad part is that l it doesn't include food, so even if you take food you still have to take at least 2 drinks, which sucks and... More

The only good thing was that the comedians were funny for the most part. On the other hand I wouldn't ever go back. The entire staff was horribly rude especially the door guy! We went about 3 hours before the show to buy tickets at the box office but they said they didn't sell them wed have to come back... More

This is a very unique comedy show experience! There is seemingly no end to the comedian lineup! They start with a packed house and the crowd dwindles as the night goes on. I was there for an 8/8:30PM show and the show was still going by the time I had to leave around 11:30PM. They front load the "name" comics,... More

I wanted to do something on this trip to LA that I never did before. Of all the years I had lived in LA I had never been to The Comedy Store, so this was my activity this trip. The Comedy Store is legendary. All the greats have played here and many legendary sets have been done on this stage.... More

We had fun here, but it was just because the comics on the fri we went were pretty good. The venue is a little small, and it was a little hard to hear the stage from where we sat.

First time here and our group waited over 2 1/2 hours to get our drinks (8 for 2 drink min) while other people were served and others didn't clearly didn't abide by the 2 drink minimum. I politely asked to speak to a manager. I was introduced to the General Manager and explained the issue. He proceeded to send the... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
