What a profession....

I was uncertain which room to make reservations for. Was in the Main Room. Had preordered tickets. The line was long but got inside pretty quickly. There is a 2-drink minimum. We... read more

This is a great little joint on the Sunset Strip, go any night of the week and enjoy some improv that will get you laughing pretty quick. We went on a Monday, free entry to the show, 2 drink minimum purchase. It was great value and we had a really fun night, some comedians had us in stitches, a couple... More

I was uncertain which room to make reservations for. Was in the Main Room. Had preordered tickets. The line was long but got inside pretty quickly. There is a 2-drink minimum. We saw about 9 comics. Unfortunately, many customers kept leaving as the night wore on. It was not due to the quality of the acts. What a difficult profession.... More

Toby is one of the employees at this establishment. Pray that you don't have to deal with him...he might ruin your night! Very disrespectful, where's the customer service?

We went to the Pot Luck Monday Session and had a great time. There were heaps of comedians from all walks of life and all levels of experience - some good, some great and the ones that weren't made up for it in attitude! Free tickets with a two drink minimum purchase, which no matter where you go is a... More

This is a must for anyone who enjoys stand up comedy. A number of quiet different performers got up as part of the show. Definitely worth a visit.

This historic venue is where so many great comedians got their start, and where many keep coming back to. The drinks are about average for Los Angeles (around $12 per cocktail) and the food is sub-par bar fare. After several warm-up acts, the main headliner is sure to please. And there are often surprise guests who are headliners themselves. I... More

We had a great time having a few (strong) drinks outside before the show. A few great comedians(5?) then Dane was on. There was one person that followed him that just bombed, so we left right before the room closed. The waitress in the main room was nice, and pretty close to great service. Would have paid cash if we... More

Go on a weeknight and first follow them on instagram. They often post on weekdays for specific Original Room shows that if you show them the post you can get in for free. That's $15/person that you're saving. But you have to buy 2 drinks/person no matter what and all of the drinks, even the really low quality beers, are... More

We were in town for a couple of days and some of our plans were cancelled so we were looking for something fun to do. Decided to see a comedy show and this one looked good. We didn't really know who would be in the line up but we arrived about 9 pm on a Friday night. We were very... More

Went out after a business dinner with some work colleagues. Was not thrilled about the two drink minimum but the waitress was pleasant and we enjoyed our drinks. The comics were a bit raw with a bit more sex and drugs jokes than is my taste but we all enjoyed it and have some good references for work. The show... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
