The animal shows are enjoyable and educational. The whale, dolphin, wild animal, tiger, and elephant shows are entertaining. Lots of carnival type rides are enjoyed at this park. Easy to spend the entire day there, especially if you plan to catch all the shows. more

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is a really great nature park and amusement park in one! My favorite part was hand-feeding the giraffes! First, the obvious tips: buy your tickets online and get there right at open. I generally go to amusement parks in September when I can because they’re generally not very busy but this rule only has a limited effect on a Six Flags.
