- Buy your pass beforehand! It is roughly 20 $ cheaper - Also buy parking beforehand - The parking area is 20 min by walk from the entrance - there is no closer parking at all! - Take the shuttle bus to the entrance, it is worth the little wait, especially when with kids and in hot weather - We... Family was on vacation in Northern California and we visited the sister park to Magic Mountain in CA called Discovery Kingdom. Sometime later, we were solicited by Six Flags via email offering us a gold pass. The literature indicated the gold pass could be used at any six flags park. I called both Discovery Kingdom and Magic Mountain, which is... More

Superman ride was broken which I heard was no surprise. Waited 1 hour in line at Johnny Rockets express for a hamburger and fries. I would come back again on the off season and bring my lunch!

We have done a family trip to Six Flags Vallejo annually since 2003. We loved it until the last several years - last year brought negative changes & this year was REALLY disappointing : ( The park looks poorly maintained & really run down. Many exhibits have been shut down & sit there empty, not replaced with anything. Shark Discovery... More

The princely price to get into this place is simply not worth it. There are essentially 4 premium coasters with an average wait time of 45 mins to an hour during the weekdays. Of course you can shell out even more money for the flash pass to skip the line and get on the ride. When I went there were... More

We've been season pass holders for several years now but this will probably be our last. Place has really gone down hill and management is attempting to make it even worse. Much of the complaint is that the staff is poorly trained, the management seems to be making up rules on the fly and the place is showing it's age... More

If I could give no stars I would. We paid the $20 fee to park only to have both catalytic converters stolen from under my truck and security knew it happened because they were waiting for us when we got to the parking lot. Security offered no information to help us. And didn't even give us any information or take... More

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is a great place for family fun no matter the age. It's safe and clean. There is lots of walking but plenty of time to rest your feet while watching a show. Plan on spending all day there to do and see everything. This is my third year with a season pass and I love it.

I chaperoned my 13 yr old daughter through the "Trainer for a Day" experience and we both had a great time! We loved how much love and respect the trainers had towards the sea life we encountered. The dolphin encounter experience was especially fabulous! The "trainers" were included in really helped the rookie dolphins gain confidence around new people and... More

So this has been an annual event for us since our son was 2. At two we thought this place rocked! There are two Mini theme parks within for little kids. With smaller versions of rides. Some that you can ride with them and some that are so tiny grown ups can't go on them. And all of the shows,... More
