I love taking hikes with my girls here. Always enjoy the fresh air and the people around you. The workout is nice and since it is local it makes it even better for a great workout before work.

They have a great walking / bike trail leading into the park if you don't want to drive there. Lot's of joggers, walkers and hikers hitting the trails around the pond. You have a Dog Park, Frisbee Golf Course, Pick Nick and BBQ areas. Fishing is limited to a few sun fish with worms. A good place near the city... More

Pena Adobe is a gorgeous place to walk, hike, or bike. They have a dog park as well. The walk to "Heaven" will give you quite a workout and takes you up above the sound levels of traffic whizzing nearby on I-80. Enjoy the peace and quiet ...

I love Pena Adobe park! Its a gorgeous park, plenty of trails that branch off a main paved road. Free parking if you exit Alamo, heading towards Guns and Fishing, and keep driving down that road until you reach the end. Signs mark where you can park, and following the paved road brings you right to the Lagoon. It can... More

You can park in the main entrance and easily end up waling around the lagoon, see the ducks, there's a doggy park as well as places for kids to play. Disk golf, horseback riding, archery or just walk/run/bike around! OR you can walk up and up and up (vertical hiking that takes my breath away...literally) - and then the view... More

Really enjoy hiking in this oasis just outside of Fairfield and Vacaville. It's also a great place for mountain bikers.

We live close, so we will grab the dogs or the llamas, or both for an afternoon walk. the walk up the mountain to the antennae and repeaters is quite a trek. give a good cardio work out or a lazy stroll to see some great views. there are many oak trees and seasonal grasses. If you just want to... More
