Really enjoy hiking in this oasis just outside of Fairfield and Vacaville. It's also a great place for mountain bikers.

We live close, so we will grab the dogs or the llamas, or both for an afternoon walk. the walk up the mountain to the antennae and repeaters is quite a trek. give a good cardio work out or a lazy stroll to see some great views. there are many oak trees and seasonal grasses. Have done several runs in Lagoon Valley. The park is a great place to relax and take families. Ducks to feed and a lagoon to enjoy

I have been in Vacaville for 2 weeks and I have been here to run and hike 3 times. It is a great place for all levels of fitness. There is the flat area around the Lagoon and the hills and trails of the Pena Adobe. I easily get 3 miles in and could easily do many more. I have... More

It's not really a hike, which is why my daughter and I often combine shopping at the outlets (walk, walk, walk) with a second walk around this lovely lagoon. It's about 2 miles and all flat. There are many birds, picnic tables, and even a frisbee area. There is a $3 parking fee if you park or drive inside, but... More

A nice walk around a nice lake. Saw Hawks and Turtles as we walked around. Lacked any facilities and the Sat Navs all take you to the wrong entrance thats now closed, but worth a visit!

Wonderful walk around the lagoon and next time will wear hikers so I can hike up the hills. Friendly people, very safe. Saw a snake, lots of geese, cranes.

Best hike that I have found locally. The Tower Hike is apx 4 miles round trip from the entrance. Dog friendly, but dogs must be on leashes. Your butt will thank you later!
