Great tasting wine and very friendly. There is so much I don't know about wine. Yet, I still felt comfortable asking questions. Sherrilynn was friendly and answered our many questions. I was so impressed with thw wine that I signed up for the wine club. Can't wait for first shipment in April!

If you are traveling through Ukiah, do yourself a favor and make the time to stop by this delightful family vineyard. Their Cab Sav is delightful.

We saw great reviews of this place and decided to stop by. I'm used the big and crowded wineries so I was confused when I only saw two parking spots at first glance. It was great though. It was small and intimate and for about an hour we got the place to ourselves. The service was awesome, the cheese board... More

I have been a club member for over five years and the wine has been consistently some of the best I have ever had, especially the cabernet. They also have a great picnic area under their own redwood grove with a stunning view of the vineyards and the nearby hills.

Copied from my Yelp review... EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!! On our way home from Santa Rosa and st Helena for doc appts, husband and myself decided to do some wine tasting for our first time. This was I think our fourth stop and we were debating it, just wanting to get home. We are so glad we did. All the other wineries... More

We picked 4 wineries to go to in the Hopland/Ukiah area and WOW, I have to say I am so glad this one was on my list. We started it off with being greeted by a small fresh strawberry stand, that you just have to taste and buy. They were so sweet and juicy. Traveled up the road to the... More

We went to a weeding and the scenery is a combination of Paso Robles oaks, Lost Coast redwoods and Tuscany vineyards wedged in between. The tasting room looked nice inside and the ceremony area outback was gourgeous. The reception area is about a 1/4 mile down the road and it is a grass area up a slight incline under oak... More

The Ukiah Symphony Orchestra played a fundraiser at the Nelson Family Vineyards on Saturday, August 1st. It was a beautiful warm evening graced by a full moon at concert's end, with a lively enthusiastic and supportive audience in a charming, rural amphitheater-type setting on a grassy slope under heritage oaks overlooking a sea of green grape vines. Barbecue and other... More

Lovely garden up to the tasting room, I had read about the Brut, in the wine magazine for the area, so we decided to stop. The fellows my hubby knows told him about the berries, so two birds with one stone, why not. We came away with the sparkling wine and the Orange Muscat. Delish! Then on to the next!... More

Stopped at Nelson Family Vineyards on the way back home to SoCal (spent a week in Humboldt). We wanted to catch a wine tasting that was not out of the way and this is right off the 101. So glad we stopped here! 2 of us were offered a sample of 10 wines and charged nothing when we ended up... More
