First time ever at Tahoe, and I had a great time skiing here. Sure the bunny slope was a little crowded and there wasn't as much snow as I had hoped for (due to weather of course), but the trails were pretty good. Also the staff was very helpful with the ski rentals, and the resort does let the Cal... More

Got a great online ski lesson deal and Drew was our instructor...made us feel so comfortable and safe on the slopes. By the end of the day we were skiing like pros. Make sure you ask for him if you get a lesson. Everyone there was very friendly and accommodating.

I've been coming here since the 1970's and Sierra just keeps getting better. It is all around the best.

Sierra at Tahoe has lots of slopes to choose from, all of different levels and varieties. We spent the day skiing down several of those slopes ad had lots of fun. The staff is not as friendly as other places, but was still helpful and attentive. The Ski School prices were quite extravagant and we decided not to pay the $200... More

This was a great place to go to with young kids. All we did was tubing but it was great fun. Not crazy crowded and pretty reasonably priced. They have a cafe which is adequate but pricey for what they serve. All the people who work here are helpful and attentive.

Can't go wrong for the price you pay. Experience - we had a kind in the Ski School - I think it was average. 3 days attentive staff, Kenny the coach was awesome. Meal every day was Mac and Cheese - really? I mean even kids get bored of mac n cheese everyday. My wife did a one day ski... More

Short and sweet; rude staff & rude snow boarders. The snow boarders think they own the place and seem to get off on "buzzing" you. We tried this as it was half the price of Kirkwood and a third of heavenly and the old adage of "you get what you pay for" holds true. We'll ski Kirkwood tomorrow and try... More

I have been here twice, enjoyed the runs though tried only the easiest ones. Good vegetarian food options in their concessions, though lines are long during the meal times.

I have been to many Ski Resorts in Northern California and I would recommend Sierra for beginner level ski or snowboarders. $45 deal for all included lesson package is the best of the best deal in whole South Lake Tahoe region. Only regret is the Snow Conditions due to drought since last couple of years. Try to visit just after... More

This is the most family friendly mountain around. A great learn to ski/snowboard program, and a few easy beginner runs.
