I want another crack at this course!

What can I say other than I'm a sucker for well-maintained tree lined golf courses. This is one of those! Other than all those pine needles on some of the greens and some blind tee shots it was a fantastic golf experience. Now that I know where to 'miss' it, I can't wait to go back for another crack at... More

Our foursome keeps going back to this course whenever we're in the Tahoe area. The course is well maintained and drop dead beautiful. The course design uses the trees, elevation changes, and wildlife areas to best advantage. It's challenging enough to demand the best game from low score golfers yet forgiving enough allow everyone, even newbies, to enjoy the round.... More

Coyote Moon is set in the pristine forest just north of I-80 in the Truckee area. It is challenging, but fair, and beautiful almost beyond belief. Other than the club house, maintenance building and 2 bathrooms on the course, there are no houses or other buildings in sight. And the 13th, what a hole with a 120' elevation drop from... More

This is an amazing mountain course with huge trees and lots of elevation changes. We liked it so much we ate lunch and replayed. We had no issues with the pace of play others have complained about. If you like big trees, wildlife, and elevation changes on a beautiful well maintained golf course - play Coyote Moon.

This was my favourite course in the Tahoe area. It was maintained to a high level. It was challenging but fair. It felt like a mountain course. (Old Greenwood and Gray's Crossing are nice, but they feel like you are golfing in a pine forest rather than the mountains.) I enjoyed the fact there are no houses on the golf... More

Beautiful forest course and great greens, but a bit rough around the edges. To be expected from a high altitude mountain course, but shouldn't be rated so high and definitely not worthy of the $160 greens fee.

I came here with my fiance to celebrate his bday, I drove the golf cart while he golfed. It was more than we expected, absolutely beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Played in golf scramble todau , June 30, with 60 golfers in a scramble. Great time on a beautiful course. The course is not easy but fair. The second round , with course knowledge, is a big help. Nice people , great course. A little pricy.

The course was beautiful- obviously given the location! The greens were in bad shape. The staff was great. Good afternoon for my husband and son.

There is nothing like late spring at Coyote Moon Golf Course in Truckee. Cool mornings, rising temperatures during the day, light breezes and, ok, a few gusts, make for a relaxing round of golf!
