Tahoe Donner is my "home course" so I know it well. I have a "love" "hate" relationship with it but mostly because of my game (not the course). I'm recently retired and a 13 index...and this course gives me everything I can handle 3x a week! It is a "true" mountain course that will challenge all levels including single digits... More

Great golf course. Nice mountain layout. Excellent greens, nice fairways, and just overall a great course

Tahoe Donner is open for the season very early and in great shape. It's a beautiful course in the sierras in Tahoe Donner which is in Truckee. The golf course staff is great. After enjoy The Lodge for drinks in the bar, lunch or dinner. You will be glad you did.

As a member of Tahoe Donner, it is hard to fined a better value. This course is immaculate, challenging and after 18 holes you want to play another 18. Even for the general public, this course is all anyone could want for the price. Because it is a resort course, it doesn't get as much play as a muni and... More

It's tucked into the trees, with wildlife all around. Very well taken care of. A fun course to play. The Pub restaurant upstairs is really fun, however, their menu DOES NOT cater to a pub atmosphere. Far too fancy for a pub, and therefore loses a lot of business !!! Should serve hot dogs, burgers, made with ground beef (instead... More

My husband and I played this course for the first time today and were disappointed. Tahoe Donner is a beautiful resort area but this course does not make the grade. The negatives of this course are: the fairways are in very poor condition, the rough is very tall and unkept, some of the tee boxes have no grass, the greens... More

Tahoe Donner is a true gem of a course. Very much a scratch golfer's course with awesome mountain views wherever you look.

I'm a scratch golfer and have played all the new, expensive courses in Tahoe (Old Greenwood, Gray's Crossing, Coyote Moon, Martis Camp etc.) and Tahoe Donner remains my favorite course! No goofy holes and by far the purest greens in the area. If you're under a 12 index you'll love it - if not I'd head over to Coyote Moon... More

This is a terrific course. It requires accuracy off the tee and an affinity for the woods. Several holes with great views and the 18th hole is stunning. I think people have forgotten about Tahoe Donner with the arrival of some more glamorous newer courses like Coyote Moon and Old Greenwood and that has worked out well for those of... More
