We were hoping to find somewhere for ski beginners that had a little snow. Our kids are under 12 & never skied before. Soda Springs is a great location for the beginner, the staff there were engaging, patient and very helpful. Mike in the ski rental department should get a raise, he has a great sense of humor, hospitality and... More

We went on Christmas day to go specifically for the snow tubing. The staff was friendly all around and helpful. We were lucky that we got a few good slides before the que grew too long. Try to wear shoes with grip as to not slide on the conveyor belt taking you to the top of the slope. $30 for... More

It was very crowded when we visited on the Christmas Day. Had to stand in a long line to get the tickets. We got a Planet Kids ticket for our son. The staff was very particular about how we display the tickets on our jackets, however, they just ignored when I asked them if they had a map. There is... More

It’s really hard to rate this place cause I do love the facilities and that they have a lot of play areas for little kids (under 12) separate from the grown-ups but the hand this place is so disorganized that it’s also a turn off. Firstly we got lost going in cause the sign for the place was so small... More

Well, we had a good time despite not being able to tube (after paying $60 for tubing). We were there when it was snowing really bad and after paying for the tube town area got to the top and the kids didn't move. At all. I went up and dragged them down a few times, but it was just not... More

Visited the "kids-planet" section of the place recently, hoping for a fun day out with a 1 year old and a 6 year old(Before visiting we checked the website and it appeared that everything was operational). Unfortunately, it was not fun for either child. The tube carousels appeared to be loaded/unloaded in irregular intervals and were boring even for the... More

I went to planet kids with my 15 Month old daughter who's barely walking and still had to pay the 30$ entry even though there was no age appropriate entertainment for her. The tube ride was too fast and uncomfortable for her, the manual tube hill was also too scary for her and she cannot ski or snowboard so I... More

Went there with two young kids at the end of the 2013 ski seasons. The place wasn't crowded at all, so that was a big plus. We went to the planet kids area two days in a row, where the kids were able to practice skiing and snowboarding. It was the end of the season, so the snow wasn't very... More

The parking lot is just a black top, no lines, so kinda just park where everyone is parking. The Planet Kids area is pretty nice. It states ages 8 and under BUT, I believe its more for children aged 6 and under. It is quite tame and hills aren’t very steep. I loved with the $25 fee that it included... More

the place has fun activiites for kids. There is tubing, skiing lessons, tube carousel. Getting a tube can be a long wait and some people hand on to theirs for hours at length. we had to wait for about 20 mins to get one from someone who was done with theirs. if you are going over a long weekend ex...
