I have a whale watching business that uses planes out of Torrance Airport. This is just a 10 minute drive from Hermosa Beach, and I have a store for purchasing tickets on the Hermosa Beach Pier. The cost is $125 for adults and $60 for kids 12 and under. The tour lasts about one and a half hours, and you get to see the beach cities, palos verdes, and catalina island. The planes can take up to 5 guests, and each plane is reserved just for your group!

I loved it!

I did it 'cause I wanted a special moment to propose to my (now) wife... and I piloted for a while too. Great experience... good luck in finding whales!!!!

We have been whale watching many times but only on a boat. We took this plane tour not knowing what to expect. Shortly after takeoff, we spotted a blue whale. Wow! At this point, we knew that we made the right decision to splurge on this tour. This was an excellent way to see the whales from a bird's eye... More
