Did not plan to spend 4 hours at Cypher but we did, had a nice lunch outside which was amazing. Had plenty of tastings and they kept on coming to bring more. We also got to attend two blind tasting with a bunch of other guests and got even more vino. Well at the end of the day it was... More

We were excited to visit since it had changed names and hoped the wines would improve as well, but they they did not. During Fall Harvest Fest we visited 25 wineries and this is the only one we did not purchase any wine from.

We visited the place on our wine adventure trip on Central Coast. Were positively shocked with the combination of great wines, superb music, and funky entourage (see the photos...)))

We visited almost by happenstance. We had been visiting wineries in the Paso Robles area, and staying at Cambria. On our way back to the Bay Area, we were looking for a winery near Highway 46 for a last hurrah. Cypher fit the bill. So we had low expectations, because we picked it by geography and not for known quality.... More

This was recommended by a gal at a different winery and we are so glad we visited! Love the Zinwitch (only with a b) made from 3 different Zins and also the port was yummy. We ate a personal wood fired pizza which was good as well. Left with 3 different kinds of wine. Very friendly and low key staff

I appreciate this winemakers passion, but his wines were not for us. We did not enjoy a single one on the tasting menu and did not care for the too loud rock music and tacky decor.

This small winery has some great reds, but at higher than average prices. The Anarchy and Monarch blends were outstanding, but were $40 each per bottle.

wines were ok, nothing blew me away. We only went because they are one of the few places in the area that are open after 5 (they close at 6).

Having been coming to Cypher Winery for years. Before it became Cypher and would have joined their wine club, but we live in Arizona and they don't ship there. So whenever we are driving to Northern California we make it a point of stopping here. Love their wines. Love the Zin, and the Anarachy, TNT oh yes can't forget Monarchy,... More

Cypher is one of my very favorites. I plan my trips in the area around going to this winery. I'm a member and anticipate my shipments. There are a couple that aren't my favorites but in general I've really loved almost everything I've had here. The 2011 Mouvedre is my current favorite though of course their Zin's are beautiful.
