This is a little slice of Americana, but be warned that on the weekends it gets very busy and parking is difficult. There are some fun shops downtown to visit and there is a large antique shop as well. The restaurants in this area are decent but don't go out of your way to eat here. The farmers market is... More

Not overly thrilled with the quality of most of the Old Town restaurant food, but the shops are cute and the town is easy to walk around and enjoy.

Old Town Temecula has a lot to offer: restaurants, pubs and shops that sell gifts, olive oil, soaps, etc. Park your car and stroll along the sidewalk taking time to browse the shops. We enjoyed Temecula Olive Oil Company and Temecula Lavender Company. We didn't eat here, but there were a number of choices for dining. This is a great... More

Temecula is an old stagecoach stop, and you can get a small sense of that history in Old Town. It has the array of "antiques" with an endless selection of old teacups and handmade jewelry, a number of restaurants, and some wine tasting rooms if you don't want to drive to the wineries. It's not large; taking your time for... More

My husband and I walked around the shops here. We had a great time and even got some giant ice cream cones from the sweet shop. It was an inexpensive way to spend our day and we enjoyed every minute of it. Lots of antique shops and boutique type stores, plus some great stops for kids (sweet shop and rootbeer... More

Old Town is a strip of stores and restaurants paralleling I-15 in Temecula. We went there twice. Once was on Mother's Day. It was very hot (over 100 degrees) and jam-packed. Parking was virtually impossible. But we returned a couple of days later. The temperature was more moderate and parking wasn't a problem. The area is OK, but it really... More

Very crowded due to the wine and balloon festival. Stiill had a great time. We ate downtown at TGIF. Weather was great. Other travelers were very friendly and also gave good ideas.

Old Town Temecula certainly breaks up your travelling day and it is a pleasant stop. Many storefronts and quite appealing overall. We enjoyed the original Temecula Olive Oil Company and purchased some olives there. The area is easy to walk and appears quite safe. Spending a few hours here is probably sufficient when planning your day.

I have been here since 1992. Old Town has come a long way, to say the very least. I am proud of the progress that has been made. Some of my most beautiful collection pieces are from Old Town. And now one of the best restaurants Public House in old town even makes it better! The weekends are very busy.... More

We didn't spend a lot of time here because we wanted to work in the vineyards in this drop dead gorgeous town. There were interesting boutiques and restaurants. Wish we would have booked a nights stay in this very pretty area of CA.
