Who knew? I didn't. We enjoyed strolling the shops and restaurants. I especially liked the live music being played all over

Just about 6 blocks on long, with plenty of free public parking at the police/municipal office a block off the main drag (at least there was mid-week).

Plenty of restaurants with diverse offerings. Cuban coffee? Check. Gastropubs? Got it. Italian, sushi, burgers, pizza, this place has it all. Go bar hopping, check out the live bands, eat, drink, and be merry.

About one mile by a quarter mile in size, this is the true old town of Temecula which used to be along a stage coach route.

I am not a shopper, but this is a cute turn of the 20th century shopping area. Went through the shops most were a little touristy but some were different and interesting. Many good restaurants in and around the stores. Most parking is free.

Charming Western town, loved the architecture. The town had a great mix of restaurants, from old style American diner to hip breweries. It is also near to many wineries... Wished we had more time to explore the town. Temecula is definitely on our list for a second visit.
