We spend an afternoon and evening walking around Temecula's Old Town while in the area for wine tasting. The area is touristy, but interesting in that there are many well preserved and/or restored building to look at as well as numerous shops and restaurants to visit. The shops are a combination of 'nice' and 'tacky' which is what one would... More

Fun to walk around after visiting the wineries. We ate at the Public House that was excellent. Wish we had more time, was only there for the day

Taking a break from wine tasting in old town Temecula was a nice change of pace. There are plenty of shops, stores, restaurants and yes, wine tasting rooms. But the big attraction is people watching. Mad Madeline's is one of the best places to do it, especially from the bar stools that face the street. Some items for sale may... More

Though Old Town Temecula looks small and focuses down one street, it has so much to offer! From wine tasting rooms and local cheese shops to antique stores big for adults. From the Old Town Root Beer Company (make your own 6 pack!) if you have the kids with you (I don't have kids so can't offer much further suggestion... More

Have family that live here, and stopped by this place its a cute western vibe theme with shops and stores and food. Good place to take the kids or have a date night or hang out with friends.

We came here on the way to San Diego and we were told to stop to take a look. The old town has been preserved very well and there are lots of cafes restaurants and shops to look at. High prices to capture the weekend tourists. I've been to better old towns, Williams in Arizona is much better. Good to... More

Crowded on the weekend, especially Saturday with the Farmer's Market. Try to go during the week. Mad Madeline's has the BEST hamburgers.

Downtown Temecula has a little of everything, for kids and adults. Visit Temecula's calendar to see scheduled events. Great choices for dining and night life.

Old Town Temecula is very alive. Lots of interesting shops, restaurant/cafes and wine bars/tasting rooms. It is also a great place just to walk around.
