Our favorite winery

This was our favorite winery of our entire weekend visit. Not overcrowded, low key, our kids even got to play the piano. Only problem was the tastings were very small. Good... read more

For the love of god, DO NOT get married here. It was an absolute nightmare. A little background: Keyways Winery is actually owned by a Chinese parent company called Essence Business Group which manages a ton of commercial properties (though Keyways is their only winery). We signed a contract in December to get married at this winery in May. The... More

My husband and I love this winery. They are always friendly and the wine is exceptional. They are rarely crowded like many of the others in the area. Inside you can stand at the counter, sit at a tall table or in very comfy chairs by a fireplace. Outside is especially nice.

The servers are knowledgeable here and the wines are pretty good (some better than others, however). Management seems a little lost as to how best to serve their customers. The attitude seems to be one of total inflexibility. A friend who picked up her wines found that she had been promised no sweet wines, but at the winery she was... More

Well, this was a joke. Frankly, save your time and money and go somewhere else. Once again, lured by the promises of a "VIP tour and tasting", came here only to find out they only run the tours on the weekends, which wasn't specified anywhere, not even on their website. In exchange for 40$ I paid for the groupon, I... More

What a huge disappointment. This was our first stop at 11am on Friday morning. We walked in with a 2 for 1 coupon and the server would not honor it. She said it was the weekend. As far as I know Friday is still a weekday. When did it turn into a weekend?? FYI all the other wineries we went... More

This vineyard was not on the main strip. Nice location. You could stay inside, the grass area or the covered patio. There was a musician outside so you were entertained while you tasted outside. Kimberly helped us and was very nice. She always seemed to notice when our glass was empty and didn't wait for us to go to her... More

We purchased through TravelZoo a $39 voucher for one person for a two-and-a-half-hour tour and tasting package. It was well worth our time and the drive to Temecula. The tour started with a sample of the first tasting in their tasting room. Soon after they took our party plus two others outside to the vineyard and explained the growing process.... More

Nothing special at this winery. The grounds appeared to be well kept, but the tasting was just okay. I'll try somewhere different when I'm back on the De portola trail.
