First, what it's not: this is not an attractive spot for wine "tasters" whose real purpose is drinking wine for an afternoon. The tasting room is small (being expanded slightly) and usually crowded. The wine barrels are visible from and immediately adjacent to the small area carved out for a tasting room. That said, Hart produces consistently outstanding wines in... More

Not as fancy as most of the wineries in the area. Tastings were in a shed like building, The bar was a piece of plywood sitting on barrels. She did give us coupons for other wineries in the area to try thier wine

So many of the "corporate owned" wineries seem to be modern, glass shrines and "Monstrosities" within a bucolic and pastoral setting -- but not Hart Family Wineries. While his son is the current wine maker, Mr. Joe Hart (>90 years old) still comes into the winery 5 days a week. Very small production wines, that are for the most part... More

All of our pours were consistently good and delicious . Brianne was lovely, extremely knowledgable, personable and we so enjoyed our Hart experience with her. Regrettably we forgot to tip....but we will double it next time.

Good wines here. Tasting room is rustic, which means small and not fancy. Don't let it fool you. You're there for the wines and not the view. Staff was friendly.

Jason was funny and knowledgable...made it a fun stop. We liked all of the wines and loved two: Driveway Red and the port wine. Best port wine we have ever sampled. Highly recommended.

It is a small family owned winery with great wines and excellent costumer service. It is one of the first wineries when you are coming from the freeway. There are two table inside and one outside the patio for wine tasting. They have 3 tables outside overlooking their vineyard. They do not sell food and you can bring in food/snack... More

This is another one of the smaller Temecula wineries, which I prefer. Dan took care of us on this visit and he was very personable and knowledgeable. It was a great way to start our day of wine tasting. This winery is very easy to find and is one of the first ones on the way up the road. My... More

My wife and I visited several wineries in the Temecula area and made a stop at the Hart Winery. We enjoyed the friendly environment of this small family run winery. The red wines were quite nice, a little bit sweeter than we like. The tasting room was in a quaint small area right next to the bottling operations. They provided... More

The wines here were ok. Very easy to get a spot for tasting. I liked the personal service. In the end we ended up buying the dessert wine (I prefer sweet wines). If you like wineries that are not overly huge and crowded then I recommend this one.
