We recently visited Leoness Cellars on a trip to Temecula. We reviewed many wineries in the area before selecting Leoness because they seemed most serious about their wines. Many other area wineries seemed to be more like holiday destinations. We took the VIP tour and tasting and were really pleased. We viewed their facilities and talked wine philosophy with Dawn.... One flaw in an otherwise wonderful day. At Leoness Cellars, it was unfortunate that their service did not live up to the wines and vistas. No purchase was made due to the lack if engagement and interest from our hostess.

Leoness doesn't have the large expanse of other wineries such as Wilson Creek, but it does have a much more intimate setting. I've been here several times because it's the winery everyone always wants to go to when we go out tasting. There are reasons for that. The views are gorgeous. If you need to see Tuscany on a budget,... More

It's Temecula so nothing spectacular but this is as pretty as it gets! This is probably the nicest grounds in this dust-filled little town! I would visit if here!

My friend and i booked a wine tasting tour in Temecula not really knowing the quality of wines we would taste over the day. our tour guide decided to start our trip with Leoness cellars. The surroundings and the little building reminded me of wine tasting trips i had been on in France. so beautiful! we were greeted by Mercedes... More

We had a great time and actually learned a lot. Mercedes was incredible, very knowledgeable and passionate about not only the vineyard but about wine & grapes. The view from Leoness is amazing. We went up during the week our only disappointment was that the restaurant was closed. The tour and tasting was well worth the money spent. Was well... More

We have visited the Temecula wine growing area several times and this place is by far our favorite. Beautiful hillside location and view , outdoor patio, and good wines make this a great experience. Heres the deal For $15 you get to taste 6 wines. Dont miss the White Merlot and the Desssert wines. The Port with truffels is amazing.... More

Leoness, meaning "village of dreams," is a winery set on the side of a hill that affords you a spectacular view of the Temecula Valley and surrounding rolling hills that create an idyllic setting to relax and taste some wines. Founded relatively recently (2003), the Rennie men have created a large tasting room with surrounding verandas and a great restaurant... More
