As a couples day of rafting we enjoyed ourselves and would do it again. Make sure you call ahead to get directions to the proper rafting co. This company uses the blue rafts and are very organized and customer friendly. We rafted day before closure due to water levels being low . Our trip with adventure at times as we... More

This is one of the most organized and well run and just plane fun things we have ever done around Lake Tahoe. I wish I would have remembered everyone's name, from the young lady that answered our phone call that got us rolling. The parking patrol that got us parked, the guy that gave us rafting instructions so we understood... More

First, one possible point of confusion. Two rafting companies are next to one another and with similar sounding names (when you are not familiar with either). This created one problem in that part of our party booked at the one next door - but since they launch boats next to one another we just caught up to them in short... More

This was the highlight of our summer Lake Tahoe trip. Our family of 5 and one small dog went in one raft down the Truckee River starting at Tahoe City. I would recommend wearing a bathing suit and clothes you don't mind being wet in. I should probably have brought something long sleeved to keep the sun off of my... More

My boyfriend took me on this rafting trip for my 50th birthday and it was worth every minute. We met some fun people and it was great to just relax and float down the river but also to have some mild thrills with the little white water spots we hit. Everyone on the river was extremely well behaived and it... More

This was just a nice experience all the way around. The rafts are large, the river is scenic, very calm, and not too deep. You slowly cruise down the river, stopping on the shore if you wish to soak in the beauty. They pick you up down stream and bus you back to your starting point. It is all very... More

There were a lot of other rafters on the river when we went. Maybe that's because it was July 4th week. The road follows the river so it's not exactly in the middle of nature. We still saw two eagles. The rapids are pretty simple. The last one was a bit rought not crazy.

My family (wife, two daughters 10 and 8, and I) took a ride on the Truckee River with Mountain Air Sports (MAS). We opted for MAS (as opposed to Truckee River Rafting) because of the flyers posted on the Truckee River running trail. The MAS rafts look much newer than those marked TRR but aside from that, I assume the... More

Four of us floated down the Truckee with Mountain Air Sports. It was fun and relaxing and took us about 2.5 hours. They provided everything that we needed to make the trip (raft, oars, life jackets, etc.) and you launch right from their location in Tahoe City. At the end of the float there is a bus that brings you... More

The staff were friendly, and the river rafting was a wonderful family experience. We had two non swimmers, and the staff made it very comfortable and answered all of our questions.
