Joey and I often rent two kayaks in the morning after breakfast and cruise around commons beach area for an hour or so. That's all you really need on the calm morning waters of Lake Tahoe. Pretty inexpensive too. Brad & Joey www.VillaLaEstanciaOceanfront.com

We booked the sunset paddle on the lake and couldn't have been happier. The guides were fun and knowledgeable telling stories sprinkled with facts as well as some local legends. The kayaks were in great shape and one issue with the seat of our tandem kayak was fixed quickly. The staff in the store were also very friendly and helpful.... More

Great tour guides, very informative. Fun evening paddle to watch the evening sun against the mountains. Be sure to take a jacket and wear clothing that dries quickly

HORRIFIC customer service and I've never even set foot in the place. I called to make reservations at their sister location in Sand Harbor. I was told they were sold out in Sand Harbor and I'd have to come to the Tahoe City location. I since found out there were plenty of SUP's available at Sand Harbor on the day... More

We managed to secure a couple of kayaks on a potentially stormy day. We had a great time kayaking to Sunnyside and eating lunch on the beach. I wish they would let you kayak North as well as South. But, they mentioned something about the tides. Even so, we were paddling against the tides in both directions. Still, it was... More

Andy & his crew are very knowledgeable & helpful. They know their kayaks. They also provide tours if you're not comfortable slapping one on your roof and just taking off. They also have a stand in sand harbor if you're on the east shore.

We rented a tandem kayak for half a day (4 hours) for $74.00. That included life vests and a dry bag. All the folks involved were very helpful, friendly, easy to talk to, and were very efficient. You have to go to the shop first, pay, and then take your receipt down to the pier (it is really easy to... More
