We are not skaters and some may consider us duffers (striders) but we have been x-country skiing since the early 70's and have constantly upgraded our equipment. For non-technical riders, this is a great spot. The single track is forgiving. However, it is not yet well marked, and the trail can be narrow and two-way. But, for us older folks who like to experiment, it was a comfortable and fun experience.

Warm and friendly greeting for all of us, including our dog. Beautiful trails and easy on the wallet!

My husband and I went snowshoeing for the first time. The weather was not cooperative--slushy snow and misty so we could not see Lake Tahoe from Vista point. However the trails are beautiful. The people working at the center were friendly and very helpful. We would go back in a heartbeat, even withsuboptimalweather.

Even though snow was hard to come by this year, they did everything possible to get some trails groomed and packed down. Yellow and green trails were fine. They were enough to wear us out and give us our much wanted xc skiing exercise. Pray for more snow.
