We wanted to do a European style ropes course ever since we came back from Switzerland. We've not found one that does as good a job of replicating the obstacles and the flow until now. Loved the fool-proof equipment that makes it almost impossible to come undone. An awesome experience that the kids didn't want to end. Highly recommended.

This was the fourth year of taking the boys to the ski/sled hill at Granlibakken and they had a wonderful time once again! I always do too, as I can be close enough to them to keep an eye out and shout encouragement as well. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We couldn't utilize the ski hill, due to... More

Wow, what a waste of a day. Only ONE cash register to handle everyone wanting to ski and sled. Thus, and very long line leading out the building. Icy walkway, people slipping all the time. There was a bucket of salt sitting outside, I finally threw some over the area where people were busting their butts. Why no employee to... More

Thank you for your feedback. We did receive a high volume of sledders and skiers over the holidays, and we are sorry to hear that your experience did not match your expectations. The weather certainly has made it difficult for us to keep our ski hill open, and we tried to keep it open as long as possible using man-made... More

Came to tahoe with my wife, sister, a 3 year old and a one and a half year old all who've never skiied or been in the snow and this was such a great first experience for them. Specifically - Catherine at the front desk helped set up my wife and sis and daughter with their first ever ski lessons... More

Granlibakken is a great place to go for sledding. They have a very fun sledding hill that's not too steep but not too small. Even if there isn't much natural snow, they'll make snow. Also, the staff are fairly friendly and do their best to ensure safety. A great place for anyone looking for a great place to sled. P.S.... More

Came here with our 12 year old son and 9 year old daughter to do the ropes course and zip lines. They had a blast. Staff was very friendly and outgoing. Very safe environment. Amazing to watch the kids' confidence grow with each passage of the course.

Enjoyed the location (close to Tahoe City, 10 miles to Meeks Bay, Kings Beach not far, Squaw Valley about 8 miles). 1 and half mile to city 9 hole golf course. Great lap pool. Okay, I know this is probably not fair, because they were swamped on the president's day weekend when we went to go sledding. They looked like they normally had a pretty good set up, with a nice hill, and all. But on the weekend we went, it was a MESS! I don't really know what they could have done to... More
