Not vertical rock climbing, just an easy trail through and around the huge granite boulders on the east shore of Lake Tahoe. Just south of Incline Village, you will get great panoramas of the lake. The crystal clear waves splash up on the rocks which are some of the great photo ops you will find here. Easy trail to maneuver... More

Sand Harbor is one of the best beaches on the Lake Tahoe shore. On one side, it has no boulders and a nice sandy shoreline. On the other, it has sand and LARGE boulders that you can climb on. The water is crystal blue and very clear making it quite relaxing. Don't expect the water to be warm...as this is... More

Sand Harbor has a small beach in a picturesque cove. We saw it in winter but imagine it gets busy in summer. The entry fee is a little off-putting but it's worth a stop to see it. More

We just stopped here one morning to take a few pictures. It is a great spot for a lake picture and must be amazing in the summer. Go there on a wind free day and take amazing pictures of the lake. They appear to have it set up like a regular beach and have a lifeguard hut to cover the... More
