Kelsey was the pourer and she was very nice and informed about the wine and the region. We purchased the Cooper Barbera and Syrah. All the wines were very good, probably better than most in the County. We were recommended there by Jeff Rundquist.

Scott Harvey's wines are also great, especially his Barbera's and Zin's, with his 1869 Zin at the top of the heap. The entire staff at this winery is quite knowledgeable, and very friendly, led by the tasting room manager, Jack Gorman, who was extremely helpful, and made arrangements to ship the wines I purchased back east for me. This was our second time visiting the tasting room (first was in 2012). The wines were good as we expected. One of the best things was the knowledge and friendliness of the tasting room staff. It is always good to learn something about wines as well as be made feel comfortable and welcome.

I've also enjoyed the Scott Harvey wines. The Barberas have always been amazing but it was a little shy of my expectation this year. The reislings from New York grapes have always been my favorite but there was no production this year. Overall, the wines at Scott Harvey have always been wonderful. This year, my favorite was its $40 port.... More

We thought the wines were great, and they let you taste as many as you pleased at no cost. We just read today in Sunset Magazine (11/2012) that the Scott Harvey Zinfandel won a Gold Medal in the Sunset 2012 Wine Competition, so this very nice tasting room is well worth a stop.

Scott Harvey is a master wine maker. His reds are the best. Great place to stop in for a tasting after strolling thru downtown Sutter Creek.

Tasting Room was comfy and the staff was very friendly. We went home with Forte, their port. I am not usually a fan, but this changed my mind. Cute gift items as well!

Great wines we bought several bottles. Their 1861 ZIN is fabulous and a good value at $40 bucks.
