I'm generally not a burger person but, the mushroom/swiss burger is very good. Everything else looked good also.

They are nothing more than a band of bandits. I was gambling for less than an hours before being informed by the security team that I was "Too Drunk" and could no longer order alcoholic drinks. I attempted to leave (by taxi) only to be informed that they had already contacted the police to arrest me for being "drunk in... More

This is a complete fabrication. I have asked the reviewer to contact me and they have not. None of our security reports match this claim. This is not the way we treat our guests. Gary More

My last visit was FEB 2014. While the Casino, Hotel, and friendly staff are as great as ever, the restaurant has taken a turn for the worse. No longer a 24/7 operation, the menu is dramatically smaller than before and so are the portions. The once-stellar Championship Breakfast now has diminished portions. The Prime Rib Special ran out early one... More

The first thing that impressed me was the kindness and responsiveness of all the staff in the casino and restaurant. We ate in the non-smoking section. This was an completely different room than the rest of the restaurant and it was very quite lending a good environment for an intimate visit. We both had the rib-eye steak dinner which was... More

I just completed my second stay at the Diamond Mountain Casino & Hotel since September 2012. While I don't gamble (and cannot comment on the "looseness" of the slots, I can address the hotel, food service, and overall customer experience. The hotel: Excellent. I "splurged" this time for a King Suite on the 4th floor. Spotless room, very large, with... More

Doctor, I cannot thank you enough for your very kind words. You are right, most folks don't notice the mini mart and gas station (the gas is always $0.03 less than anywhere in Susanville.) The steaks also improve after the new year as the Omaha Choice prices come back to line with our menu prices. Gary More

Standard Diner food. all good. The Diner has closed doors to filter alot of the Soke from the Bar/Grill on the Casino floor. There is a cook your own Steak on Tuesday nights which is a pretty good deal 10.00 for a rib eye for example.

It was ok. the bartender had an inteligence quaotient roughly equal to the ambient room temperature, didn't even know what a chocolate martini is. Machine were not generous, but the rest of the staff were very helpful and the security is good. Rooms are small, but comfortable and clean.

The casino is too smoky. They have a non smoking area but that helps little. The non smoking area needs more of a variety of machines. The resturant is average. Servers are not very efficient. The food is ok.
