The renewal of the downtown area of Stockton is a process. This addition of a marina is such a marvelous plus! Not only is it functional providing a place for locals and visitors to dock their boats but it is a visual treat. The sail shaped coverings are a wonderful (and functional) design element that attracts the eye from near... More

We went to the Stockton Marina area. This is where people keep their boats. Their section of the marina has a locked parking lot. There are two public parking lots, one north, one south to park at and see the marina. Parking is free. We also walked along the Joan Darrah Promenade. This is a nice section of the Stockton... I've lived in Stockton for 23 years and just visited this area for my first time. I've been downtown before and wasn't planning on returning, however I signed up for the Port of Stockton tour (which was pretty good!) and had a chance to explore. The marina and promenade area are very nice. They were well maintained and I felt... More

We enjoyed walking around and enjoying the views. This is one of the best places to stroll around the waterfront in the city and we always feel very safe and relaxed there

I like this place because we can walk a fair distance along the water and see the ballpark, marina with waterfowl and boats as well as a large grassy park and finally end up downtown. There is a big movie theater at the end of the waterway as well. There is an event center in the park which hosts summer... More

The downtown marina is just beautiful. The city should be proud of the area with all the things there is to do around there. I saw events going on at the hotel, the arena, the ballpark and the marina and got to watch fireworks from my boat and it wasn't even the 4th of July!! I see that you can... More

My husband and I enjoy visiting the stores and taking a romantic walk down the scenic waterfront, watching the birds, ducks and dream of having a night get-away in one of the beautiful yachts, under the full moon. Stockton is lucky to have this attraction in downtown area. We do not have this where we live. Congratulations, Stockton, for this... More

You can walk all around the waterfront. It is located very close to city hall, a movie theatre, the civic auditorium, banner ball park, Stockton arena, the court house and an array of restaurants. You can park in the webbers point parking lot on center street and have a picnic. In the summer many kids run through the water that... More

Everyone knows Stockton for the Marina. It is always a nice calm place to relax. The fountains and playground are the perfect attractions for children. Or you could go for a nice stroll around the place and look at the ducks and yachts.
