This was a pleasant casino, well decorated and clean. We liked it better than the Jackson Rancheria. The valet parking was a bit of a wait however...staffing problems on a Friday night?

Sept 13 & 14 it's the Acorn Pow Wow - Great place to see awesome Native American Dancing, experience and enjoy the culture. Took my sister today to her first Pow Wow and did she ever have fun. In top of that she are her first Fry Bread Indian Taco. She was in bliss - if you'd like a fun... More

Kids got to swim, grandparents got to play the slots (and win!) Nice staff, large smoke free gambling area for those of us who gasp in smoking environments.

We were staying nearby and decided to stop at the casino for awhile. We joined the slot club and got signed up for a slot tournament where my wife finished 2nd. Needless to say we went home well ahead. If we are in the area again, this casino will be on our "must stop at" list. The staff that we... More

Like the family friendly atmosphere of the bowling alley & arcade located in the lower level of the casino along with a restaurant. Friendly staff to help us get started with our bowling game. Just didn't like the smoking atmosphere that's still present in many casinos which only bothers me when I bring children in or through the establishment.

That's it, nice for a casino... Wasn't too smoky, fair on the payoffs, and card games that could get you involved.

A big disappointment in the food department at the Buffet. Service poor; food worse. Buffet looked so unappetizing, my choice was fish and chips. Big batter greaseball arrived, had to hunt for the bit of fish. The fries were dried and had sat under warmer for? This is below basic expectations. How hard is it to throw the fries in... More

Here are the three things I love best about the Black Oak Casino: #1 ~ the friendly staff. Each person I met on my two-night stay went out of their way to say hello. #2 ~ Seven Sisters fine dining. Their Sunday brunch offers a variety of fresh, tempting foods. #3 ~ the slot machines. Can anyone say ka-ching? Great... More

We live in Tuolumne and have visited the Casino at least two times per year since it opened. I give it an average rating based upon my visits to 3 other Indian casinos. I am not going to compare it to Vegas as that would not be fair. The staff all seem to be friendly and knowledgeable. There is (are?)... More

I'm not a big gambler but I visit Las Vegas fairly often and this casino would not be out of place there. There is a huge selection of slot machines, and I particularly appreciated the non-smoking area which seemed to be very popular - maybe it's a myth that most gamblers want to smoke. There is a modest table game... More
