While visiting with my adult sons & families in Jamestown, CA we went Bowling! What a great time at Black Oak! My 4 year old grandson was the winning bowler until his Father & Uncle noticed the score. I love that the bumpers were seamlessly put into place when it was grandson's turn. The food, which was brought to our... More

This was our second visit to this casino. It is a nice getaway for non smokers who enjoy playing the slot machines. The non smoking area is quite large. If you park, near the sky zone you never need to inhale any of the smoke in the casino.

At one time we enjoyed the food at the Black Oak Casino. BUT it has gone down hill dramatically. The last time we ate there I had to send back my fish and chips because I could not cut the fish with my fork - like cardboard. We have noticed a steady decline in the food quality at all restaurants... More

Black Oak Casino is a fun place to go. Even better now that they have a non-smoking section. It's great entertainment before dinner at the Seven Sisters restaurant.

Ok first thing, it was a Friday night. Buses from the city come up. Main casino was so smokey I thought I would die. They do have a non-smoker area of casino. Not bad but very crowded limited selection of machines, slots are tight, and hard to find empty one. Very noisy. Downstairs bowling alley is nice.

Son went there to the restaurant with an old lady he knows for her birthday. She accidentally wet herself and the staff was so ugly that they threw her out of the restaurant before they were even finished with dinner and didn't allow them to stay. She is old...for crying out loud, give her a break! But they were stuffy... More

Love to enjoy the various dance bands that they have here on Friday and Saturday nights. The music is usually pretty good, there is no cover charge, and the atmosphere is always fun. And you can always find some good food at any of their dining choices.
