Not only was Kurt a natural and gifted teller of yarns but the gardens and setting are quite fabulous and the wines matched the experience. In a tour of northern California this was one of our best experiences and is very highly recommended.

It felt like visit family. The host, Kurt, was great. The tasting was personable, informative and one of the highlights of our trip. What an amazing garden!

We had a lovely time at the Robert Hunter Winery. Kurt met us and gave us a wonderful tour of the estate, amazing garden and house. Inside we met Bob and had the most wonderful afternoon. We learned so much about wine and felt very honored to be there all by ourself. We loved their wine and spent out entire... More

We loved out private Robert Hunter Winery tour! The grounds are breathtaking and the gardens are very unique. It is so neat to hear the history of the land, garden, trees, wines, vines, etc. Kurt (the tour guide) is a great historian and leads a really interesting tour. It is also a great experience to taste Robert Hunter wines in... More

Robert Hunter is a private estate and you must make a reservation prior to visiting...but it's totally worth it! We were given a tour by Kurt who was not only extremely knowledgeable but incredibly nice as well. We started by taking a tour of the grounds and then moved into the owners house where we had the tasting. We met... More

We loved the time we spent at Robert Hunter Winery. The tour had so much personality, the gardens were beautiful and the wines were superb. This is one winery that we think should be on everyone's itinerary if they love fine sparkling wine.

Our wine tour here, was different, it was a very small group and we got a long history of the property and the family of sonoma. It was interesting, although I don't 100% buy all of it. But regardless, it was a fun story to listen to while sipping wine. The champagne was by far the best, lovely. All the... More

Knowledgable tour guide (who grew up in Ca) and beautiful grounds. Very intimate tour of Robert Hunters winery with an expert in wine making. Loved the samples - 4 of Robert Hunters wines. Kurt was our trusted guide... Nice job!

I happened to see the reviews on Trip Advisor and changed our tasting and lunch plans from Viansa to Robert Hunter Winery. Wonderful, wonderful! Serendipity indeed! We were met by Jodi and she took us for a tour thru the beautiful garden and then we sat next to the pool for our tasting and we were honored to meet Ann... More

Visited the Robert Hunter Winery and toured the elegant gardens. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and passionate about his role and about our being there! The Pinot Noir was very well priced at $38 bottle and smooth as silk. The sparkling wine was the best I'd had in this area. Very special aging of 10 years goes into each bottle... More
