So glad we started our day at Shug. The views of Sonoma Valley were incredible- take a photo while you are here. And the wine is amazing- I had always been a fan of their Pinot but really enjoyed trying their Savingnon Blanc while we were there so much that we bought some. Staff couldn't be friendlier- a "must-do"!

This was one of the first vineyards that I visited prior to living in SF. I fell in love with the sparkling Pinot. I've been a member for several years and have enjoyed their wines. I don't have an astute palate, so I can't really decipher things, but it's charming and always friendly when I've visited.

Last stop on a 3 day whirl wind tour. So glad we stopped here! Harrison gave us some great wines to try. Winery is nestled in at the bottom of a massive hill. Gorgeous settings. Do yourself a favor and visit schug.

My sisters and I stopped by Schug, due to it being recommended to us, and were in awe of the wines, the history and our "wine guide" Glenn. Glenn was fabulous! As we were walking in I was checking us in on FB to which Glenn noticed and stated that if we all did so we would get a free... More

My husband and I stopped here on a quest for a great pinot noir. We hit the jackpot for sure. The employee who helped us was very knowledgeable and we loved most of wines, we were torn as to what to buy. Ended up with their Estate Pinot Noir. Yummy. We were even able to get a quick tour of... More

I enjoyed this small vineyard. Their pinot is delicious and the staff are eager to share the love of these delicious wines. I'd avoid all big business vineyards out there and stick to cozy places like this to get the full experience.

Visited this small tasting room Oct '13. the typical experience at a small room went for the Pinot Noir and was not disappointed, . If you are interested in a small intimate tasting room stop here.

Passed by while a break in a business trip to tast some californian vine. The staff was competent and very friendly. Choice of vines was very tasteful, and delivery even to Europe is offered.

Definitely a must visit! The grounds and views are beautiful! The tasting room is a bit on the small side, but the wine is worth it. We went on a Friday and the experience was well worth it. Tasting is waived with purchase and their wine is worth it! The sparkling Pinot Noir is delish! Glen was our guide in... More

We made this little place our first stop up to Sonoma Valley. It was a cute little welcoming spot. Friendly, not overly crowded and there wine was pretty good. They honored the 2 for 1 on-line tasting coupon. But the free self guided half mile walking tour was closed because they had some construction work going on on the property.... More
