We went here based on our guide book and were kind of disappointed. Where was the "fairytale castle"? The pond is pretty and the grounds are good for a picnic, but there are better spots for that with better wine. The wine was good table wine, the shop was cute (but WOW overpriced) and the staff seemed disinterested and disengaged.... More

Stopped at this beautiful winery for a tasting. We were very disappointed in the focus on selling upgrades and membership with very little information provided about the wines themselves. Wines were ok but not worth enduring the upsell pitch.

I had a great visit to Gundlach Bundschu. Their attention to the details show in the great selection of wines. They have rich history in wine making and the folks there are down to earth and just fun. I have remained a fan of the wine and get shipments several times a year.

I love the laid back but passionate atmosphere of this winery. In the two trips we've taken to Sonoma, Gundlach is the only we returned to, this time while biking. It has pretty much everything I could want in a winery: beautiful views, plenty of serving space, helpful passionate staff pouring wines, and very tasty wines. It's easily accessible by... More

My wife and I were just touring some of the Napa and Sonoma wineries. First off go to the visitor center in the Sonoma town square and get a 2 for 1 coupon for this winery's tasting. Then head south and east a bit to a very pretty and friendly place that also has very good wines. They explained that... More

This was one of our last stops for vineyards, and I have to say that my new favorite wine is now Gun Buns Gewürztraminer. What an interesting and delicious wine. That said, a blonde middle aged woman was pouring wine, and she was just plain rude to my daughter, and had little interest in describing wine to our family. It... More

Gun Bun is fun! How's that for a kitschy phrase? Ok, I made it up, so don't blame them. But it's true. The people in the tasting room were super friendly and helpful. The wines were good. I did not take a tour but walked around the property on a trail and was able to peek into the cave where... More

Gorgeous vineyard!! Amazing tasting wine without all the fuss of one of those more commercial spots. The vineyard is family owned for generations and you can tell. Its very well kept, spectacular wines, great outside seating areas with amazing views. I bought several bottles & recommend you do to.

This was our first winery stop in Sonoma and our favorite for sure! From it's beauty, to the fabulous wines, to the great attention we received from Tito! It was top notch, informative and fun all at the same time!
