Beautiful grounds, not crowded, fabulous wines, amazing staff - totally loved this experience! We went in not expecting much because of the recent reviews, and we were more than surprised! Our wonderful staff member gave us the full history, showed us old family photos from the winery, and gave us some extra "splashes" of wines which we liked. We didn't... More

We had looked forward to a tasting at Gun Bun for some time. When we got there (and to be fair it was a Saturday) but the place was absolutely packed, both inside and out. The servers were literally going from person to person and had no time to answer anything. Our server was trying her hardest. On top of... More

The tasting room was nice which took away from the rude staff member. She did not seem to want to answer our questions about the wine except how to pronounce the winery. Once she got the hint that we were going to purchase a couple of bottles, her attitude changed completely. The winery has a lot of picnic tables where... More

We spent three days tasting wines in Napa, Sonoma, and the Dry Creek Valley, and of 11 wineries tasted, this was our last favorite (by a pretty wide margin). The property has some nice vistas, but the tasting room itself felt a bit garage-ish. They were fairly busy during our visit--it was sort of a squeeze-yourself-in-at-the-counter kind of experience. Of... More

We visited this winery as part of the Goodtime Touring bike tour. We enjoyed biking on Gundlach Bundschu's beautiful grounds, but the winery itself was nothing special. The service and wines were both just average. Nothing bad, but it definitely didn't stand out. Maybe the official winery tour is better, but I don't think it's worth a visit just for... More

Pro tip - have the staff tell you how to say the winery name. Nice tasting room with a pleasant outdoor area. Good wines. Nothing super special but a nice visit nonetheless.

Our group of 10 enjoyed seeing the cave system and the grounds. Sad to say that our guide (Barbara) was extremely pushy on their wine club and seemed to make a habit of trashing other wineries. Her knowledge of wine was also questionable... there are better places to visit.

I'll keep my review short and sweet since people don't enjoy reading book long reviews about places. My wife and just got back from another visit to Napa/Sonoma region, and this was our 2nd time to Gundlach Bundschu. We truly love this place, how fascinating the grounds are that they grow the grapes, the cave they bring you into for... More

We stopped here after lunch on our Napa tour with 3 other couples. The third winery of the day on a beautiful afternoon, we were very excited to enjoy the weather on the beautiful patio. While the view and the patio are beautiful, this was by far our worst stop in Napa or Sonoma. The service was horrific. We spent... More
