Stunning views and delicious wine

Crowded, disorganized, sticky, dirty and the servers were a mess. The wines were just okay and we had just come from Buena Vista which is just the opposite of Gun-Bun. I don't think I would ever tell anyone about this place. (I did like seeing the generations of family photos on the wall)

Beautiful area, terrible service. My wife and I arrived for a wine tasting and were warmly greeted. We chose our tasting flights and were poured our first glass but were then literally abandoned by our server when another group came in for a private tour. We stood at the bar for at least 15 minutes, during which time the first... More

On our way to Napa, we stopped in Sonoma and based on a recommendation of a local decided to stop at Gundlach Bundschu Winery. The grounds and views are simply stunning. We had a great tasting and then elected to take a bottle outside on the patio where we sat in Adirondack chairs overlooking the vineyards and water. There are... More

We first came here on a tour and had to join their wine club! What a wide range of wines and they are all delicious. We have been on. Few tours and the tasting room is always cozy. This is a busy place but so fun and beautiful to visit. They have places to picnic, they host concerts and wine... More

Beautiful grounds and good wine, reasonable priced tasting, believe $20 for 5 tastings. Really enjoyed Chardonnay and Cab. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will be back!

Second visit here and this time decided to join their wine club. The choices tastes and prices of their wine, along with all the perks of yours and free tastings, this couldn't be beat. They are known as "Gun Bun" and that's what I call them and their Gewurtztraminer is dry and tasty (not sugary and sweet like everybody else's)... More

The tasting was delicious, and the staff is very knowledgeable. The winery is beautiful, and is a must visit for anyone visiting Sonoma. The winery is dog friendly, which makes it even nicer.

Beautiful property. Artwork on vintage bottles is superb! Staff was fabulous! Special shout out to Julie Peterson who was very informative and enthusiastic!!!! Gave me a lovely tour and she had more knowledge than an encyclopedia! Looking forwarding to visiting again soon. The Zin and Tempranillo were fabulous!

First visited Gun Bun four years ago before we really appreciated some of their wines. We are now hooked on their Cab Reserve series. The artwork on each vintages bottles have a story all of their own. The wine of course was wonderful and the tour of the grounds never gets old. Great little gift shop and tasting room. Special... Attention. This is a rant: Saw a music / dance event on-line. Went to the website to purchase tickets. Okay, $35 for a local bar band with a DJ warm-up act seems a little steep. Click on the ticket sale. Oh, the price is $35 plus a $9 "resort fee", plus a $11.25 convenience fee. So a $35 ticket really... More
