I love their Merlot and was very excited to visit their tasting room. Maybe we got there to late in the day but I felt like the banter with the pourer was practised and repeated, not genuine. More

Big winery, nice staff, great wines. Really enjoyed their tempranillo. Great place to enjoy lunch on the patio. More

I was lucky enough to visit Gundlach Bundschu for a friend's wedding rehearsal wine tasting/dinner and it was fantastic. Not only was the wine delicious but the people were warm and friendly and the views from the courtyard were stunning! We were there at sunset which was simply sublime. More

We had our picnic delivered here while renting bikes from Sonoma Valley Bike Tours in Sonoma. The tasting staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and the grounds and picnic areas are beautiful. More

The wine here was, as you'd expect, delicious. What made the experience really good was the server, who was knowledgeable, friendly and helped us pick a good tasting menu. He was very informative and made the whole experience excellent. If we could have bought another bottle, we would have! More

I had heard so much about this winery and went with high expectations. The facility was beautiful. You can prearrange for a tour of the vineyard and cave for, I believe, $20, but we opted just for tasting. However, the wines (reds) were merely average. The reserve was not available for tasting and perhaps that would have been better. More

This winery is a little unusual; no castle or chateau on the hill but a truly fun tasting room in with caves and a park above! Also offered are tours, by appointment, of the caves. We did not tour the cave but had a truly delightful visit to the tasting room. The pourers were enthusiastic and fun and much to... More

We stopped here after another winery recommended it. Some good wines, but we really enjoyed the presentation. Tito was very knowledgeable about everything. Whether it was the wine, a picture on the wall, or Sonoma history, he seemed to know everything. Great stop! More

My husband and I were super excited to visit this winery because it was a favorite with several friends of ours. We visited on the day Gundlach was celebrating its birthday - absolute chaos. I really wish that we had just turned around and left. The wines that we were able to try were fine, but the disorganization (ex: waiting... More
